Apparently the wildcat didn't merely threaten, but ate one of Drew's cats; and Stryker (*) will be baby-sitting Drew's kids (or some such thing), if the following exchange is to be taken seriously:

Stryker: I'm moving in with Dr. Drew next week into his house.

Drew: Nice. Good times.

Stryker: That should be pretty cool. Take care of the three kids.

Drew: Deal with that bobcat we have in our backyard.

Stryker: What's that? Oh, with the bobcat. I'm so... A bobcat ate Drew's cat.

Drew: Yes.

Stryker: I don't know if you talked about that on the air already.

Drew: No. I think I did. It was awful.

Stryker: Sorry about that, man. That's terrible.

Drew "flies solo," doing an entire show all by himself. This show provides an interesting counterpoint to Adam's solo in January.

Drew mentions the title of his upcoming book for the first time: Utter Hell. "I talk in it about what women do to men..." [Update: The title has been changed to Cracked. See entry for Sunday, March 16, 2003.]

Tonight, members of the Culver City police department dropped by the studio to give Adam a sobriety test on the air.

Adam and Drew replay the last call from Wednesday night:

Adam: Last night on this show we got a call that made me laugh, and made Drew laugh, and made Tom Arnold laugh, harder than I believe we've laughed in some time. [...] It's a really funny call. [...] I don't think we've ever -- I shouldn't say "ever" but "rarely" -- ever replayed a call on this show. [...] So we're going to replay it...

This call is currently in the sound collection:

Holocaust (duration 7:43)

Drew mentions the documentary which he narrated: "Teen Species". It premieres Sunday, August 25 at 8 PM (ET/PT) on The Learning Channel.

Adam and Drew allude to Adam's bachelor party for the first time, which apparently will take place in Las Vegas.

Adam's 20-year high school reunion will be on Saturday at the Universal Hilton Hotel in Universal City.

Drew flies solo again. Adam is in New York to do Stern, en route to England, his first trip abroad.

Thomas, the mason jar guy, the guy who started it all, calls the show (!!!). This time it was not bogus!

Adam reveals that he lost his virginity to Molly Ringwald's older sister, Beth. (Molly is a "dear, dear friend.")
