Anyone with access to a news server and who wants some old loveline episodes should check out alt.binaries.great. I didn't post them, but I check there regularly for the current loveline episodes and today someone posted episodes from 1998-2000.

Thanks for the info... I will have to try and figure out newsgroups now... one question, is there a sound quality that they usually are?

I've never been able to figure out just how to access a newsgroup. Any tutorials you could point me towards? Thanks

All I know about newsgroups is.. your ISP usually gives you access to as server (something like news.yourisp.com) and that most email programs include the ability to subscribe to and download newsgroup messages. On the other hand, I have no idea how to read the messages (a majority of them seem to need decoding of some sort) and there are no obvious signs of an attached file (so far as I can tell)....
Its seems to be one of those crazy parts of the Internet that most people ignore.

If you have some sort of high speed internet, you'll probably also get a news server for free, contact your provider for the name. If you're on dialup or don't get a free news server, you have to subscribe to one, easynews.com or usenetserver.com are some of the better ones. You'll also need a newsgroup reader; the easiest program for people to use is one called Agent, go to www.forteinc.com to get the trial version. Once you figure out how to use them, you can really get everything from newsgroups, they're really great.
