Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at 10:06 PM haha, I didn't contact Silent Virgin Shelly! i contacted the dude who ran this site: http://loveline.jww132.com/ and he gave me all his .mp3's from his old site for me to host them on my site so they could live on. i think there was some mis-reading of shelly's post. :) yeah, that guy who ran that site did have the full original quote in real audio, and i'm getting it from him later this week. i'll post here when i get it up. thanks silent virgin for the inspiration :) Tyler | |

I meant to say that "tyler, you contacted that guy..." sv, you had nothing to do w/ it! :) and now after rereading it I can see why you were confused (I'm getting to be as bad as a caller... oh crap! I am a caller... uh, well a really dumb caller like the kind from bakersfeild or w/ a chirping smoke alarm!) and kevin the original call was deffinitely before july '02! it was several years ago... maybe even before 1999! if memory serves this is what happened... they asked the chick where her dad was and she said something like "in his room," but adam misheard her so he says "her dad's in Israel?" and being a loveline caller she's dumb enough to ask "what's my dad doing in Israel?" good times! | |

Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at 5:18 PM no, the original call was most deffinitely several years ago. I know this b/c it was on a site that I came across in the spring of 2000. This means that the call occured around that time or earlier. Maybe anderson threw the drop in sometime more recently... I did bring up this call on the boards a while back and that may have caused some confusion. | |

Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at 4:01 PM I just discovered this site and HECK YEAH, this is my favorite Loveline moment ever. The Israel comment was most definitely several years old, I would say somewhere between 98-2000. Every once in awhile they'd throw the drop in when they had a confused caller, but I haven't heard it for a good year or two, unfortunately. I think the caller who didn't know what the Holocaust was may have replaced her in the oblivious caller pantheon. | |
