i think you're right about the pre-made stuff. i had it once and it was pretty darn good. my mom bought ovaltine a couple of times when i was a kid. it never made it into the milk. we put it directly onto ice cream.

by the way, why do they call it ovaltine? the jar is round. the mug is round. they should call it round-tine.

p.s. i know someone who pronounces "milk" as "melk." does anyone here know anyone that calls milk "melk?"

p.p.s. has anyone here ever tried strawberry quick? it had a pink wabbit on the carton.

i know i'm disgusting for doing this, and i know that it shows how trapped i am in the yummy phase, but my favorite warm drink is two packets of swiss miss hot chocolate with mini marshmallows, made with two cups of milk, four tablespoons or so of cream, mini marshmellows, and whipped cream on top. now that i think about it, cinnamon and/or sprinkles would be good on the whipped cream...

apple cider is damn good too...
