once i cross into the realm of phantasy novels with no literary merit it doesn't matter to me if they are written well or not.

to me picking martin over salvatore is like picking the least of two evils....so i picked my favorite storyline. drizzt is so damn sexy, dark, complicated.

salvatore has a big problem with using a "word of the day" for each chapter....it was distracting at first but after reading ten or so of his books i got used to the terrible writing.

You could post a picture of him standing triumphantly on top of a bloody pile of skulls, while simultaneously banging a hot wood elf chick (lol, wood elf) and strangling Chuck Norris with one hand, and his sword's name would still be Twinkle. There's just no counteracting that.
