itt, we comment on and talk about ACP stuff.
katy mixon (yesterday's show) sounds exactly like my -ex girlfriend that was married during the time we were together.
same voice, same cadence, same everything down to the laugh and the way she said "okay" and "sure". seemed to have a very similar personality too. very eerie for me.
yes, she sounds like she's 9 years old. her step daddy raped her when she was 9. my -ex that is. don't know about katy. sounds like it.
there are pics of her boobies on the internets, which gives some insight.

on the other hand, i'm sure it boosts his morale to be a guest.

you have google on your internets, yes?

not my -ex, katy. sorry for the confusion.
although, i do have some topless photos of her. i didn't take them. someone else did years ago, and she left them with me.

I think they could ask him how he's doing, maybe turn to him and ask him "what do you think Bryan." it's the interjections that give him trouble. I had a friend in high school die of this--it wasn't fun to watch the process close up. I'm hoping they treat it better now 16 years later.

if i were a massive dick, i would gladly post them. that chica broke my heart twice, and i'm still not a vindictive asshole.
i think adam should post bryan's brain scans so we can follow his recovery/demise.
Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 1:04 AM
don't post them. I think we went over this once here in one of the few threads I started.
Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 10:14 AM
Seems that Adam has a growing list of people who would say that he has "stuck with them through thick and thin". Giving up on Bryan, podcast wise, until he gets better might be kind of low blow. I admit though, it's tough listening to Bryan try to get through his sentences.
Andy Dick said on the Podcast that Adam is the ONLY one who stuck by him in his hard times. I liked the Andy Dick Podcast episode quite a bit for some reason. When he was imitating the drunken long lost fathers voicemails that he was recieving, that was pretty wild. "Youooooooo LIMP. WRISTED. PANZZZZZZYYYYYYYYYYYY1!".
Andy was laughing hard at some of the digs Adam took, jokingly, at Andy's family history.

I'm not advocating that.

i'm still banned from the adam carolla message board until december 2010 for two extremely benign posts.
i figure i can get one good post in january of 2011 before i'm banned again for another few years, so i need to make it count.
adam and teresa referred to this type of sniveling pig control person as "yella" on the latest adam/teresa/bryan installment, and i think that sums it up nice.
Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 10:57 PM

that's not the point. i should be able to post as plurry on their fucking abortion/site.

Does anyone know why select podcasts download twice, with slightly different run times?
31/8/09 - Mr Skin
I hated how Adam was buddy buddy with this guy. Never got into that territory with him about how websites like Mr Skin are so sad and sleazy and lame and pathetic that they make me feel like becoming a (literal) eunuch or going Cadfael.
I also hated when Mr Skin was talking about how no-one knew about the website back in '99 except hardcore perverts and web geeks and I'm like, "I knew about it in '99..."
Still, I like the idea, after hearing about how they are reviewing old movies re-released in high res formats, of going through old movies set in US cities and spotting homeless people they missed clearing out, ghettos in the distance, and so on.

Adam's been steadily gaining wheight his whole life. In the 80s he was trim, in the 90s he was fatter but not so you'd notice if you didn't know him in the 80s, and he's spent this decade being puffy.
Since I upgraded to iTunes 9, Adam's podcast has been split into two separate, identically named podcasts. All the new shows since the upgrade are in the new podcast. What the fuck is going on there?
Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 11:04 PM
they have two interns now and they still don't know what the fuck they are doing.
Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 10:04 AM
did anyone listen to the latest Dana Gould podcast. somewhere in the first 15 minutes Adam brings up the "would you rather your daughter get coated in gallons fake semen on film or get a teaspoon of real semen in the face on film," conversation that he had with Simmons that got Simmons in trouble with his bosses. It seems like someone (Donny?) started protesting when he headed in that direction and Adam said "I know we're supposed to keep this thing cleaner..."
anyone know what this is about? Are they going for mainstream sponsors or something? Has anyone official mentioned anything?

Fired radio host back in tune with ex-boss
Adam Carolla was the choice to fill shock jock Howard Stern’s nationally syndicated morning slot on the West Coast four years ago. He delivered the punch lines but not the ratings. So the funnyman got the ax.
But Carolla appears to be getting the last laugh. He launched a podcast that became so successful it will now be co-produced by a major radio network – the same one that fired him nine months ago, CBS Radio Inc.
CBS Radio will pay Carolla, although the amount has not been disclosed, and it will help sell advertising to play on the podcast. CBS Radio will also promote the podcast on its stations and Web sites beginning Monday.
Network executives and the 45-year-old entertainer – who replaced Stern in late 2005 after the shock jock moved his morning show to satellite radio – insist their relationship is solid. Nevertheless, industry observers chuckle at the idea of CBS Radio in a deal with Carolla less than a year after firing him from the national morning talker that aired locally on his home base, the former KLSX-FM (97.1).
“The word is ironic,” said Michael Harrison, publisher of Talkers Magazine in Springfield, Mass. “Carolla only had to go off and start doing the podcast because CBS laid him off, and now CBS is stepping in and picking him up.”
Carolla told the Business Journal it’s all fine with him.
“A lot of people in this business, they might be like, ‘Screw those guys, they fired me, I’m going to make them pay,’” he said. “Well, I’m making them pay by making them pay me.”
Carolla said his podcast wouldn’t change much, except for the insertion of advertising. But he admitted that operating under CBS Radio’s aegis could cause him to watch his language more closely.
“This is now part of CBS Radio, and you can’t go and just incite riots or drop n-bombs,” he said. “I understand that.”
Carolla’s podcast, which he produces five times a week out of a studio in Glendale, has enjoyed strong success since he launched it in February. Each podcast, which can be downloaded for free through iTunes and Carolla’s Web site, receives an average of 130,000 listeners. It has consistently been ranked as one of the Top 10 downloaded podcasts on iTunes.
But Carolla didn’t sell advertising because his old contract with CBS Radio ran through the end of this year and he didn’t want to be seen as a competitor. He had planned to start selling ads at the beginning of 2010.
Now, the deal with CBS Radio means ads will start appearing soon on the podcast. Company executives declined to discuss specific ad rates. But a source familiar with discussions told the Business Journal that executives have talked about charging about $25 per ad per thousand downloads. Under that scenario, an ad buy on one of Carolla’s podcasts that receives 130,000 downloads could cost $3,250. Carolla would get a cut of that revenue.
Chris Oliviero, CBS Radio’s vice president of programming, said Carolla was exploring other advertising opportunities, such as integrating products into his podcast.
“One of the things we’ve learned about Adam is that he understands the value of really strong sales relationships with clients,” Oliviero said. “As soon as we announced this partnership, we heard from advertisers who sponsored his show at KLSX who said, ‘We want to find a way to get back in business with Adam.’”
Next wave?
The deal could put Carolla and CBS Radio at the forefront of the next wave of evolution in talk radio.
While talk radio listenership generally remains strong – the top-rated station in Los Angeles in August was news-talk station KFI-AM (640) – some personalities have struggled to find a way to retain their relevance in the era of media-on-demand forces such as TiVo, YouTube and iTunes. Podcasts have been a key force in the revolution.
“I advise talk radio hosts all over the country to get into podcasting,” said Harrison of Talkers Magazine. “It’s an absolute gold mine of potential.” That’s because podcasters know they’re reaching the listeners who want to hear them, and their advertising can better target that audience.
Some popular talkers such as Bill O’Reilly have had success with podcasting. But their podcasts are usually subordinate to their on-air radio shows. Carolla, however, has found success with a podcast that’s his primary media. As such, the partnership with CBS Radio will be closely watched by the industry.
Carolla’s podcast partnership is the latest chapter between the comedian and CBS Radio. Carolla came to the network after co-hosting “Loveline,” a radio and TV sex advice show, and the “Man Show” on cable TV. He built a loyal radio following as Stern’s replacement, but ratings were unsatisfactory. The station, with a stable of personalities that included Tom Leykis and Tim Conway Jr., traditionally hovered around 27th place in the L.A. ratings with a listener share of about 1.3 percent.
In February, CBS Radio pulled the plug. It announced it would flip KLSX to Top 40 music and it laid off all of the on-air talent. In his final show on the station, Carolla riffed on the state of local radio, saying, “All you’re going to hear on L.A. radio now is ranchera music and Top 40.” But he said he understood the network’s ratings-based decision.
Carolla said when he started his podcast, he doubted it would be successful.
“I didn’t know what podcasting was before I did it,” he said. “And even when I started, I didn’t understand who would listen to it or why they would listen to it.”
Oliverio said CBS Radio monitored Carolla’s podcast and approached him about a deal when the show was a proven success.
Jack Silver, the former program director at KLSX who hired Carolla for the morning show, said he knew his former radio host would thrive in the podcast format. The station used to repackage “The Adam Carolla Show” into a podcast that was regularly one of CBS Radio’s most downloaded.
“It didn’t surprise me at all that when he went off the air, literally the next day he started the podcast,” said Silver, now the director of integrated marketing and promotions for CBS Radio stations KRTH-FM (101.1) and KTWV-FM (94.7).
For Carolla, the CBS Radio deal also means he no longer has to shoulder the cost of producing the podcast himself. He estimated he has spent $100,000 of his own money to pay for Internet bandwith, buy equipment and rent studio space – and his expenses escalated as the podcast climbed in popularity.
“Every time someone downloaded the podcast, it cost me like half a cent to pay for bandwith,” he said. “It’s almost like I was getting punished for being successful.”
Carolla doesn’t have to worry about paying for his Internet bandwith now. Instead, he could be sitting on a lucrative opportunity to pioneer a new media format – an opportunity that was kick-started by his firing from KLSX.
“Getting laid off may be the best thing that happened to him,” Harrison said.

That's kind of sad. I liked his podcasts the way they were.

That's great news (partnership with CBS). Ace works really hard, hell I only try to do a daily biz-related blog and just that much has become a huge pain in the ass after merely a half-year.
It might seem like nothing but he has worked hard to get to this point (neverminding all the BS hoops to jump thru prior to just this podcast) and now it looks like things will keep working out in his favor. That's good - I really enjoy this podcast, it's much more entertaining that TACS (which I could barely stand, most of the time - though yes, it did get better with age)
Like anyone else here, I hope the show is able to maintain its integrity with the advent of sponsorship - if they have to clean up the language a bit I suppose that's not the end of the world (it still sounds bizarre to hear Ace and Drew say "shit" or "fuck!" not that I care)

i am going to try so fucking hard to find a way to work on this podcast. i think i am in good position to ask a few of the right people if there is a place for me somewhere in the emerging digital/podcasting realm of CBS.
i think this is a spot where my years of menial shit in the radio world have a chance of paying off. a slim chance, but a chance nontheless.
my fingers are crossed.

The podcast with Courtland Cox and Adam's other former roommate is really worth a listen. Fills in a period of Ace's life right before Loveline that he rarely talks about. I almost deleted that one, but it's a really good one. Both guys do good Adam impressions.

Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 12:09 AM
Okay, I listened to 4 this weekend. Exciting.
Larry Miller 5/10/09
Larry said that Roman Polanski was broken for finding 13 year old girls sexually attractive. Adam said that old people are no longer used for advertising because now all the advertising is being done by hot, sexy, good looking 13 year old girls. Same episode. Good stuff. Wasn't part of the same bit, by the way; Adam was lecherous in the beginning of the show, Larry was solemn in the later part.
Together they also came out with the gem that native north american people used to live, pre-genocide, as nomadic people eating nothing but buffalo. Fuck, even I've heard of Three Sisters.
Adam and Larry can both be real funny, but when they start opining about how the world is, was, and should be, they are so very depressingly worthless.
Bobcat Goldthwait 21/8/09
I'd never heard his normal voice before. Didn't know he'd directed The Man Show and Chappelle's Show. I'm interested to see this new movie he's made with Robin Williams. Unhappily Ever After wasn't a very good show.
Van Stone 13/8/09
Cute parody band. I'd never bother but it was funny when they talked about deleting an ex-member from album reissue liner notes, and other genre trivia stuff like that. Interesting to have an entire show that is a performance, no break-it-down from Adam because he's playing along and trying not to laugh the whole show. The cover calypso band stuff was funny too.
Richard Belzer 16/10/09
Pretty hard to take. Belzer is occasionally really funny, but so comically smug and lacking in worth that it balances out somewhere below neutral. I've seen a lot of stand up footage of his, old and recent, and it's embarrassing. I only watched so much trying to find the magic I'd heard he had. Couldn't find it.

Jack Silver, the former program director at KLSX who hired Carolla for the morning show, said he knew his former radio host would thrive in the podcast format. The station used to repackage “The Adam Carolla Show” into a podcast that was regularly one of CBS Radio’s most downloaded.
oh christ. Didn't catch that on the first read through. this is awesome. how much of that is bullshit? Silver never fails to try to make it sound like he discovered Adam or something.
1. CBS hired Adam to syndicate to the West coast half of the Stern stations.
2. Silver paid to have Adam host from his station after the deal was made--he had little to nothing to do with Adam having a morning show.
3. Adam had deals with individual stations of which KLSX was just one--he probably made more $ from Las Vegas than he did from LA.
4. Silver never failed to fuck with the show and promote retarded tie ins.
5. remember when Silver "had the idea for" this week in rage?
6. If Silver has so much juice how come they completely obliterated his format on "his" station.
what a hack.

lol, 26 years old.
Yeah why did she lie about her age? She truly could pass as 26 though, that's the weird thing. She's smokin hot, I couldn't believe she's 40 when I looked that up.
Also, did anyone else catch what a douchebag that interviewer was on that video? He has little to no juice, I mean Adam said he was a gemini and 2 minutes later the bitch incorrectly corrected Adam by saying he was a "Pisces". Then he proceeded to boss him around by saying he gets "one more, than on to the next question". That guy pissed me off. Plus the fact that he starts the interview by saying "tell us a little about yourself". Really? It's Adam Fucking Carolla, who doesn't know who he is? Adam was right to bust the guys chops for a couple minutes, he was a terrible interviewer and not to mention demeaning.
"What's the difference between The Man Show and the podcast?" Are you fucking kidding me? What a fucking horrible question!
Monday, November 9, 2009 at 8:46 AM
It's Adam Fucking Carolla, who doesn't know who he is?
I would wager a lot of our parents don't know who he is. My Dad was a casual Loveline listener, but he couldn't name the hosts.
Monday, November 9, 2009 at 8:56 AM
My parents know Adam from the Man Show. Also the ladies I had an interview with a few weeks ago in their 40s and 50s all knew Adam from the Man Show. We actually talked about Loveline a little bit during the interview, kind of surreal.

My dad says when he sees a little kid running around he starts thinking of norethindrone and the rest of DAG's kid names and starts laughing.
Monday, November 9, 2009 at 10:40 PM
what happened to Billy Moses? Does he still hang out with adam?
Monday, November 9, 2009 at 10:44 PM
he got fired for being a dumbass. i would be very surprised if there were still in contact with each other

Giovanni as guest on podcast? Maybe they're running out of C celebrities to interview? via @adamcarolla on twitter.
Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 12:31 PM
i'd rather hear Giovanni than the jack in the box mascot or whoever, tbh.
Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 1:59 PM
i think it's great that they invited giovanni on the show. he has done a lot for adam and the community, having him on the show was an appropriate reward. i've long thought that they should have someone on to represent the minions - of course, i always thought it should be me - but i'm stoked for giovanni.

because apparently, nicknames for vagina include "bald biscuit" and from australia, "mumbler."
ben, do they call it a mumbler?
Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 4:12 PM
Adam Carolla Podcast - 2009-11-01 with Dr. Bruce is a must listen.
the show devolves into adam digging into donny for 10 minutes after bruce tries to discuss adam's personality profile. the anderson fiasco with DAG is somewhat covered.
Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 7:31 PM
I've never heard it called a mumbler. Some Australians might though.

Jack was such a prick! I was severely dissappointed, Adam was on his A game that night too, it had potential to be one of the best podcasts.
Vote for the worst podcast yet!
My vote goes to Tom Bergeron, and I just got done listening to Bobby Slayton, holy moley did that guy have an irritating voice. Frank Stallone was pretty bad too, he seemed borderline queer and he would not stfu, even at the end, it just became awkward when he wouldn't stop talking.
Friday, November 20, 2009 at 12:23 AM
plurry--I couldn't hang in for Bruce's inexplicable conservativism. i love his "evidence" that they just send old people away to die in Norway.

very good call.
Friday, November 20, 2009 at 12:34 AM
gotta listen to the second half of that bruce episode. he doesn't do a whole lot of talking.
Friday, November 20, 2009 at 12:36 AM
Bruce is the worst kind of conservative--he holds those horrible values and he preaches about god. Fuck religion and fuck the backward ass republican party.

plurry--I couldn't hang in for Bruce's inexplicable conservativism. i love his "evidence" that they just send old people away to die in Norway.
—bguirk
That felt like a fairly short portion of the podcast to me. Between the vaccine talk, and Adam and Donny arguing, the time spent talking about healthcare didn't feel like a whole lot.
he preaches about god.
—bguirk
When did he do that? I've never heard him say anything about religion, personally.

he used to talk about God all the time when he subbed for Drew. Adam would often quiz him on his religion.
AND KILL THE JEWS!

well duh.
Friday, November 20, 2009 at 11:02 AM
adam would always say hes a better dr than dr drew.
just to screw with drew.
adams assholishness is a big part of what makes him good on the radio

Seriously? Maybe it's just been such a long time, but really I can't remember him ever talking about it. Interesting.
Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 12:57 PM
when callers would say they were having sex Bruce would tell them not to until they got married and Adam would start quizzing him on religion. My guess is this is mid-to-late 90's.

anfernee, if memory serves me, bobby slaton sounded like danny bonaduci with a garbage disposal in his throat, yesyes?
EDIT: Bruce Heischober sounds like a jew name too. they don't allow jews in redland though, so he had to convert
Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 3:17 PM

That must be it. I started listening in 2002 and haven't heard many shows prior to that year--I probably haven't heard any pre-'02 Bruce-hosted shows at all.

Damashek--Christ I can't believe people used to advocate for this guy over at the tard board. He comes in with some shitty barely warmed over 80's lyrics and his great insight is "you'd get a restraining order for this!" Awesome Dave. Wow. Why were you booted off the air? Comedy gold. It's a bad sign when you bring in a bunch of prepared material and Adam's throwaway comment is the funniest thing of the set.
I have Giovani thoughts too, but they will probably have to wait.
Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 2:06 AM
Geovanni was awesome, I always thought he was black though! Does anyone have a picture? He kissed Adam's ass maybe like 15% too much, it was starting to get old. But he was surprisingly funny himself and provided some awesome insight on topics Adam rarely talks about like Loveline.
Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 4:35 PM
i imagined him looking like a young Tevye
Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 12:05 AM
Geovanni was awesome, I always thought he was black though!
meh. Giovanni is an asset to the community in that he has that Kevin U energy to collect and document Loveline, but
1. he hasn't be there since the beginning
2. his podcast was half abortion.
especially annoying was when he tried to get Adam to address people who disagree with him as if there's anything to address. as if disagreeing with Adam is some sort of crime. fuck that. I'm so tired of all of the sycophantic behavior on the part of a few douche males that listen to Adam--as if you're some kind of traitor to the cause (Adam's wallet?) if you disagree with some of his truly half baked points and god forbid voice that disagreement. Adam is a comedian. He exaggerates reality for laughs. If you listen long enough he'll contradict his points depending on the guests, but even if he didn't do that who the fuck cares? Do I have to support kicking the shit out of women and ingesting boat loads of cocaine because I like Miles Davis? I don't see how getting Adam to repeat his lamer points for the 80th time with zero evolution in his thinking solved anything on this podcast. And BTW--he does repeat shit and it's not the resets he used as an excuse that bother me, its' the pouncing on guests and interjecting moldy stories inorganically that sucks. It's like we're watching a Carson best-of segment every episode. To be fair the podcast I it's definitely hit a new level lately and very little has been repeated over the last 12 or so, but if you love Adam and his work unconditionally then start growing fleece and chewing grass in the field you fucking sheep. One of the things I've always loved about this place is that when we actually do get around to discussing the shows the discussion is pretty thoughtful and interesting. How interesting would it be if we just sat around here and verbally sucked A & D's cocks?
Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:37 AM
Oddly enough, Tom Wilson was on the morning show at least once.
Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 5:57 PM
Yeah bguirk, there was definitely an element of "you tell 'em, Aceman!" that was cringey. Gio kept bringing up criticisms and wanting to address what "people on the forum are saying", but Adam to his credit seemed uninterested in hearing it or responding. Maybe it was Gio's attempt to have some sort of criticism mentioned rather than just his ass-kissing for the whole show, idk.
Was kinda funny/sad when Adam was saying "oh I've never heard any of the old lovelines and wouldn't know how to go about it" and Gio was like - I sent you all the shows on flash drives a year ago and Adam was like oh yeah, huh. He gave some line about how he keeps moving forward is by not thinking about the past (right, except where he rehashes it constantly)- wish he'd give some of the old lovelines a listen just to see how good he used to be.
Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 10:57 PM
Maybe it was Gio's attempt to have some sort of criticism mentioned rather than just his ass-kissing for the whole show, idk.
that's awfully generous of you and clearly you're a better person than I am. When Adam actually jumped on a couple of the critques gio was cheering him on so I think he's probably a lot closer to the crowd at the "real" adam board than he's put off in his posts.
thanks for replying BTW. I was beginning to think I sealed my fate at goatbased for no reason.

he pops into the hub every once in awhile and yells at everybody for not doing things the way he wants sometimes, but i've talked with him one on one in IMs and email, and is basically a good guy.
he went out of his way to let me DL something few others had (at least at the time), and that meant something to me.
Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 11:31 AM
What are the other ones? I can't think why he'd be removed from TLC, which (call me crazy/delusional) I believed to be the largest/most passionate Loveline board.
Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 11:42 AM
TLC is considered some sort of tiny weird enclave of psuedo loveline fans by most of the other loveline communities on the internet... obviously they don't know the truth
Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 12:58 PM
but i've talked with him one on one in IMs and email, and is basically a good guy.
I'm just more tired of this "it's Adam's way or no way" attitude that pervades even this board at time. I recognize that he is basically the new Kevin U in terms of his devotion to Loveline and in general that's good for the community.

paul shaffer is ate the fuck up. after listening to that, it's obvious that somewhere along the way, paul began drifting from perspective.
i watched a lot of letterman in the 80's as a kid, and remember his voice a tad different. the way he talks now sounds like an imitation of himself with a little thurston howell III added sometime in the last decade.
i was floored by his love for britney spears.
spears career has been pieced together by managers. how can yo not see that? creative force, my ass. if you actually think she chose her producer or handpicked the musicians, you're an idiot. if you, a 60 year old, heterosexual man listen to her albums while you sit around the house with your wife, you're a joke.
also think he's going to the grave as a closet homosexual.

I felt like that was a put on--most of the compliments revealed her as stupid and were backhanded.
if you, a 60 year old, heterosexual man listen to her albums while you sit around the house with your wife, you're a joke.
I guarantee he has no love for her music. If you look at the bands he put together for the Late Night Specials back in the late 80's/early 90's there was nary a Tiffany or Debbie Gibson. Lots of guitar heroes, Michelle Shock'd. The effeminate showbiz thing is part of the stage persona. I saw the Late Show live and he's very butch when the cameras are off him or if you look at his Later interviews with Bob Costas back in the 90's he's pretty serious about the music--it's sad he didn't feel comfortable enough to not be Late Show/Night Paul with Adam.

i remember when dave/paul's band had a black guitar player named hyrum that was always barefoot, and when phil collins would also play drums with the band when he was guest.
Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 6:42 PM
I'm all caught up too. The Transylmania guys were surprisingly candid and very entertaining, those chicks were fucking dumb though. I liked how Adam said he had "never heard of Armored", and then 3 podcasts later, who is on the show but the cast of Armored. Nice. I liked Lawrence calling Adam Lancealot Carolla, that was pretty funny, but I hate that guy for never having a day job in his life.
Oh yeah the legalize pot stoners were incredibly dull and uninspired.

Yes--that would be Hiram Bullock, recently deceased. I have a couple of his albums--he always had Will Lee on bass. I saw him once in a club in NYC (still barefoot) with Marcus Miller--amazing guitarist, but probably a little heavy into the coke. I miss the World's Most Dangerous Band.

I loved on the first Ace on the House podcast when Adam was like "Now I don't want to dissuade you" when referring to suede paint and then he fake laughed at his own joke and was like "Ha Ha, good one Ace, that's why I get the big bucks", I don't know why I just found that hilarious.
And I hated Adam's 10 minute stand up, it fucking sucked, he talked about his daughter's shit for 5 minutes which I cringed through, and then he parlayed that into pissing on the floor, then onto his daughter rubbing her ass and crying when they walked out of the bathroom was a tad tasteless, although funny when he said "just give her a lil knuckle pop on the forehead". Then he complained about his son being a puss and how he's going to be a power bottom, I mean I'm so glad he's not an adoring father that calls them his lil bears and shit, but even that was a little much for me, the kids are 3 years old! But the guest segments were priceless, especially with Ralph and the 2 sports guys. Even Joe Rogan was very entertaining. I'm so mad I missed this though, I had work otherwise I would've been there in a heart beat. I love the Irvine Improv, and I have a friend that lives less than 5 miles away that I could crash at for free. So if there is a subsequent live podcast, I will most definitely be there.

Adam and Drew need to have buttsex again, or make-up, or whatever so Adam can get back on Loveline. I think he would be there if he didn't have a bit of a grudge.
Friday, February 5, 2010 at 7:55 PM
I think the grudge is directed more at Ann and Westwood One than at Drew, though.
Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:23 AM

Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 6:00 AM
didn't lynette post here that she and adam were pissed at drew?
Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:44 PM
Yes, but I think that was a more immediate irritation at Drew not sticking with him on the contract thing. They've since remained friends and still speak well of each other (most of the time, anyway...) whereas Ann Ingold and WW1--particularly the latter--would have been the origin of the whole problem in the first place.
