wow, that's incredible work! seriously some of the best Flash cartoon work i've ever seen- in particular the way you replicated brush strokes was fantastic. i really like the trees at the beginning, for instance, reminds me of old-school illustrators like Jack Davis. did you do it all in illustrator first using brushes for the lines then bring it into flash or what? it has that hand-drawn look that most flash stuff lacks. great work, i hope you do this stuff for a living because you're a lot better than most of other the people who do.

also, this was one of my all-time favorite Adam bits, i must have listened to it 10 times.

Wow! I'm happy everyone seems to dig it!

GooseAss- I just draw right into Flash on my Wacom tablet with the brush tool. They added a "smoother" in the new version that makes it possible. Beforehand, every line you drew looked like a bent radio antenna!

And I want to mention, because a lot of people have guessed it, that in my interview a while back I said there were three bits that I was initially thinking of animating: Chief Thunderbear, this Submarine bit, and... Adam's walk into the club where the music changes. Now there's a ever-growing list, but those were the first three, so good guessing, people!

The music is from a CD of orchestral bits I have for occasions like this. I can actually do a little music, but time was a factor, so I reached for the CDs. I just picked the ones that seemed right for the particular scene and slid them in with minimal trimming.

And the font is really just how I write on the screen. By the time I got around to the titles and credits, I was just worrying about getting it done! Maybe next time I'll jazz them up a little.

So I actually have emailed Lynette, along with some other people who could potentially make the show aware of the 'toon, and hopefully they'll mention it soon, so we can crash the sound page again! :)

Anyway, I'm very happy. Thank you all so much.

Yay! My plug! The circle is complete.

The audio I used for the 'toon came from the August 8th episode from this year. I'm pretty sure it wasn't one of the day-delayed tapings, so hop on the hub, everybody!

And Kevin, as for my use of an alias, it's probably the reason Engineer Chris uses one. There's a freedom in anonymity. Last night, Adam said that he just wanted to blend in in public. That's pretty much the thinking here. I'll deal with cartoon issues directly, and then discuss what type of porn I like as someone else. (Oh, okay, I dig squirters!)

Thunderbear,

That is absolutely fantastic, very impressive, and very talented. Just great, I think you've hit on the (only way besides radio?) perfect way to do something with Adam's talent for story telling. Just awesome, thanks so much for the work. I agree with others, there has to be some way of putting this on comedy central, or something, maybe like the Robert Smigel cartoons on SNL. But even if it doesn't, I hope you keep making them for us!

Also, I'd like to echo the other board member's thoughts on the airport story. I really think that would be so funny, if you showed it all, Adam waiting outside, and everything, but of course that's up to you. His personal music bit would also be great too.

I mean, damn its right up his alley, it makes him look like an action star. I say Thunderbear, needs to keep making a few more of these till he lands his hiney in a seat on the show next to Adam. He may even be asked to become the shows official animator!!

Theo man get ur butt movin on some more songs man, id love to see Theo and Thunderbear become regular additions to the show in one way or another.

Does anyone have a clip of Theo's christmas jingle? I've only heard it on the air, but I remember it being some of his best work.

"Anderson's with a hooker who's blind..."

I am STILL cracking up over that one.
