on 07/14/2008 The whole entire article is her trying hard to explain why having sex with her brother is such a beautiful and wonderful thing. If she has to try and defend the intimacy so much then obviously there was something wrong with the relationship to begin with. Deep inside of her she probably struggles with depression, guilt, and self hate. To make the incest seem like it is somehow natural and 'ok' she bolsters it up a something more miraculous than it really is. She talks about how she preferred being with her brother more than anyone else, and didn't really have interest in any other boys besides him. This is very unhealthy because it shows a deep obsession for a taboo relationship that will never be able to exist outside of their perverse reality. She is forced to keep the most important thing in her life a secret from the rest of the world. She must struggle with jealousy that her brother sleeps with other women besides her. She might even have been getting used by her brother simply for sex. I don't see how this kind of relationship can be healthy in the long run for anyone involved.

You are spouting bullshit. The whole tabooness of sibling sexual relations is based on the bullshit antiquiated and erroneous assumption that such sex always produces babies with genetic defects, and that all sex produces babies. I've had sex for many many years without producing children. Amazing, huh, its called using a condom, birth control, or the male just not ejaculating. In other words, 100% of my sex is done for pleasure, as it is for most people most of the time, not for producing offspring. There should be no more stigma on this sort of relationship any more, by anyone. If you have sex with a non related person, there is a chance also you will have genetically birth deformed children, assuming you do not exercise birth control. Does that *chance* make it taboo, for all sex to be shunned and looked down on by society? What about sex with children that is one hundred percent consensual. It is done for for pleasure, by both parties, does not hurt anyone, and does not produce offspring... and it does not hurt the children... why then should anyone think of it as taboo or 'dirty' or perverted, just because you happen to have some weird neurotic hangup or distaste for the idea. I have a distaste for seeing your fat ass walk on the beach with your big asscheeks hanging out of your shorts, but that does not mean I'm going to sit on a jury and convict you of a crime, something you did consensually between your fat ass and your shorts, and label you a sex pervert and sentence you to 20 years in prison at taxpayer expense.... Incest... sex with children... sex outside of marriage... gay sex... all this criminilization of consentual sex must end, because quite frankly, its retarded, stupid, and not based in anything rational whatsoever beyond someones distaste for the idea.

I've seen so many people in relationships with people that look like their sibling or parent. People who vehemently oppose incest either fold to societal dogma easily or know that their gene pool needs new blood. The best evidence against inbreeding is the British Royal Family.
