Sunday, July 6, 2008 at 2:36 PM One of the pleasant side effects of seeing mainly foreign or arty flicks in the theater is that it attracts a better crowd of people--no one has ever talked on the phone during one of these. For more mainstream stuff I find waiting a week and avoiding the 7 PM hour shows on the weekends tends to take care of most problems. If you go opening night during prime time you're just asking for a theater full of douche bag sheep--the kind who probably applaud at the end of a Bruckheimer movie. —bguirk |
