Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 7:24 PM it took six hours to download an episode of house. I wanted to download a video from soulseek so i could put it on my ipod. I downloaded a converter but just when it almost gets done converting my computer shuts the program down. Anyway, i tried playing the avi file with windows media player but it's just audio and it's in russian. fuck. —stefanie |

Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 7:56 PM i don't know what the java stuff is, i don't remember that coming up. torrents work by other users uploading their files. this starts before the file is even finished. if you're sharing a partially complete file, you're a peer. if you're sharing a complete file, you're a seed. if there are no seeds online at all, the peers are fucked. —MajandraFan |

Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 8:24 PM Edited Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 8:41 PM Sweet! I had morphine with Morphine. I also wax sealed letters to rival fiefdoms with Seal, I re-enacted the crucifixion with Trent Reznor, I went to the ancient greek underworld with Elysian Fields, I swam in ocean swarming with bluebottle jellyfish with Sting, I cleaned swimming pools with Richard Patrick, I fucked up my life with Tarrie B, and I went berry picking with Wild Strawberries. by the way, did any of you know that although the bluebottle jellyfish appears to be a single organism, it's not a jellyfish at all - each is actually a colony of Siphonophora i sure as fuck didn't

Monday, June 9, 2008 at 9:47 PM You're absolutely right! I should go to a great deal of trouble and expense to rectify a situation that could be rectified by your simply altering an extremely minor aspect of your behaviour! How DARE I? —Dusty TheHick |

Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 2:30 PM I'm sorry Dusty. Fifty dollars is beyond the pale. For someone who spends as little time using computers as you do, you'd take a thousand years to get value for your money. In future, I will try to cater every aspect of my behaviour to the lowest common denominator. I mean, there's gotta be someone here who's using an Amiga, right? Shit, I hope this post doesn't overload their system. —MajandraFan |

Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 3:21 PM I just read the actual thread, and dang I'm impressed 2 other people realized the futurama connection. None of my friends appreciate the humor in Futurama -_-, they all love Dodgeball and Mr. Woodcock and those semi-funny, mostly stupid movies. sad. —anfernee |
