Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 11:05 PM Goddamnit! You fuckers! Why can’t the dog ever live? What the fuck's wrong with you Sadist Hollywood Pussies!!?? Can’t you ever let a goddamn dog live?!! Will Smith could have died by crucifixion after he got his balls chopped off, and his asshole raped anally 20 times by a prison gang, and everyone would have been fine, but you just had to go and kill the fucking dog. —Masteel |

Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 11:12 PM thanks for the spoiler alert (just kidding, I'll never see that movie). In the pretty famous travel book Tracks about an Australian woman who treks across the desert with 2-3 camels she **spoiler alert** says the dog died along the way in the text. My English teacher freaked out our entire class by telling us that in fact the dog lives. People couldn't believe it, as if something that memoir based and written in black and white just has to be true. Ask Oprah what she thinks of that. —bguirk |

Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 11:14 PM I cried when Hooch died in Turner and Hooch. Turner got stuck with the dog and didn't like him at all. He just wasn't a dog person. But then the dog slowly grew on him and he ended up loving him. Of course a couple weeks later the dog dies. I think he was shot. I don't remember. I cried because the dog died and because Turner lost his new best friend. —acm323 |

Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 11:24 PM He just wasn't a dog person. But then the dog slowly grew on him and he ended up loving him. This describes an episode of "Lovejoy" we just watched. The dog's not in the next episode, though, so maybe Lovejoy sold him after all. Or maybe he died. —TortillaFactory |

Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 3:13 PM So we watched I Am Legend, it was pretty good. the zompire circle jerk was freaky as shit. I thought the dog was going to die when he ran after the deer, so I'm glad he survived a little longer. It was interesting to compare Will Smith's character to the mother in 28 Weeks Later, who was basically in the same situation except she was insane and failing to accomplish anything, whereas he'd built an entire civilization for himself. of course he had much longer, but still. —TortillaFactory |

Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 4:14 PM I liked the movie for the most part (pretty much literally, the first hour or os is good and then it loses steam about the time the lady/kid show up) though I thought the 'monsters' were too computer graphic-y to be taken seriously - it ruined the mood —Beat It! |
