I then witnessed my current girlfriend (at the time) drunk dial said ex and tell her off on her birthday--by witness I mean I stumbled upon her hanging up after I had told her "whatever you do, don't call her." Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 2:50 PM Like MJ, I've never really been drunk (though I have imbibed... in fact, last night I had a few glasses of Manischewitz - it was a little like cough medicine, but it was so sticky sweet that it actually tasted passably good to me, which is more than I can say about any other wine that I've ever tried). Despite never being drunk, I've done my own semi-retarded version of it a handful of times. The difference is that in my case, instead of being drunk, I'm just very sleepy and up in the middle of the night, and instead of making a phone call, I'm writing a long and wordy email that somehow seems like a great idea at the time even though I realize at the time I'll think differently about it in the morning. I've only been drunk-dialed once and that was by some random chick in Hawaii who wanted to have phone sex with a stranger. Somehow I've always regretted not talking with her beyond saying a polite no-thank you (though I'm sure my roommate at the time wouldn't quite have appreciated getting to hear that conversation). —anobody |
