Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 7:14 PM It's no secret that since Adam left Loveline I have been negligent in keeping up with the advances in the loveline community, and I feel as though I have missed quite a few "new releases" of old shows. Is there anyone here who has a good enough grasp on which shows I may be missing that were released in 2005-2008? I know Colin did a batch that are shared at lovelinearchive.com, are there more? I feel as though I need to "complete" my collection and finally get everything burned to DVD and squared away for safe keeping. So, Colin, plurry, anyone have any clues that could help me track down this stuff? Thanks! —Kevin U. |

Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 7:18 PM A bunch of pre-2000 recordings (mostly chopped up/partial) got released on the hub, by someone named tobydog or something I think. I'm sure someone else remembers it better than I do. There are some interesting celebrities (Topher Grace, referred to in filename as "Tover", Alyson Hannigan, and such) but it's mostly for sentimental value since the shows are so fragmented and impossible to follow. I suppose the five or six I listened to might not be representative of the entire batch, but it sounds like someone was sporadically recording with their tape player. —TortillaFactory |

Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 7:21 PM Is it too much to dream that they actually have dates? That sounds like a pretty good score. —Kevin U. |

Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 7:22 PM They have dates but I believe many were determined to be incorrect; most of it was done via some very clever detective work, iirc, but some of it's dodgy assumptions. I'm not sure if he's still on the hub, but he did post here a few times. He gets really pissy if people grab and don't share. —TortillaFactory |

Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 7:25 PM Okay, thanks for the info Liz. I am debating on whether I should even bother - maybe I should just get all my own recordings in line, and give up on the earlier stuff? I don't really know what to do. —Kevin U. |

Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 7:28 PM I'm biased against incomplete shows because I find them so unsatisfying, but for the completest, I guess this is the dream come true. I'd accept even a low-quality recording of the entire thing, but it's mostly like 30 minute segments of the show that fade in and out. —TortillaFactory |

Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 7:32 PM Kevin--get in touch with Colin. He probably knows what's up and hosts some shows I haven't seen on the hub yet. ZT put some "must get" shows from engineer Mike on rapidshare or something like that. They included James the dog-effer (which I think we had) and the infamous Pennywise show where they wanted to take Adam to poo poo city. That one is definitely worth tracking down. —bguirk |
