Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 12:39 AM i am a californian, but i must address a couple things. sublime is dead. -ZT so is jimi hendrix. band of gypsys or are you experienced?... still a fantastic listen. indeed, brad nowell is in the ground and sublime has long since disbanded, but pop in 40 oz. to freedom or second hand smoke anytime and they're still great albums. i suppose this is a matter of opinion, but i couldn't hang with anyone who didn't like any of the aforementioned records. You should hook up with anfernee and have a 311/sublime fuck and suck fest. -john lennon first off, fuck you drake. i hate you. second, anfernee has good taste! 311 and sublime are great bands. he and i got into this a little while back; 311 is one of the best live shows out there today. just fantastic, with energy to spare. a couple of their albums in particular (music and grassroots) are EXCELLENT, play-them-from-start-to-finish records. transistor, soundsystem, evolver, and omaha sessions are very strong as well. they turned into the long beach dub all stars I thought. -bguirk they did, but they have since split up. they were alright, but nothing to write home about. —airking32 |
