Memory hog, etc. —shakrat I have 2 GB of RAM and a decent graphics card and it loads/runs fine with all of the visual effects and stuff. That said I sort of hate it and I'm usually running a dual boot. I have tried Leopard (no thanks) and ditched. Now for anything other than games/dev suite I run Umbuntu. I suppose if you're the average Windows user there's no reason to upgrade unless you're somehow jealous of Tiger/Jaguar/Leopard's visual effects. Great article about Vista in the times yesterday based on internal M$soft docs. —bguirk |
