Monday, March 10, 2008 at 7:11 AM I've always been a night person (similar schedule as yours and hated getting up early) but last semester I went hiking a lot early in the morning which kinda pushed my schedule forward a bit and this semester, I'm living with someone who goes to bed and gets up really early (~ 9-10ish PM / 6-8ish AM) and as much as I've resisted it my entire life, I have to say that it's been a remarkably smooth transition and that it's actually pretty nice that on days when I "sleep in" now, I'm getting in to work before I used to get up but still feeling like I used to on weekends when I'd sleep in till past noon... which brings me to something else - I've been getting up and going to bed at more or less the same time on week days and weekends so I'm no longer fighting myself with my sleep schedule (I think that's actually helped a lot). —anobody |

Monday, March 10, 2008 at 9:07 AM Left on my own with nothing to wake up for but a night class like today I usually stay up until 2-4 AM and wake up whenever my dog needs to piss which is anywhere between 8-11 AM. When I have a job I try for 7 hours of sleep which usually means in bed around midnight. Good books, video games, and good internet all push the bedtime later though. —bguirk |

Monday, March 10, 2008 at 10:43 AM Sleep: 12-am Arise: 7-8am (though if possible I go back to sleep until 9-10am) A perfect schedule would be sleep at 2-3am and wake up around 10am though work and life generally conspire to make that a rare treat. —Beat It! |

Monday, March 10, 2008 at 11:58 AM i usually try to get to bed before 2am, but it's difficult when you live with three of your best friends, so it's always like we could go to bed now or we could watch titanic again. on mondays, wednesdays, and thursdays i wake up at 9:15 and on tuesdays and fridays i wake up at 10:15. last semester was so nice. none of my classes started until 2pm. i'm sure that will never happen again though. —mandee |

Monday, March 10, 2008 at 4:40 PM For that past few months, I've been trying to make my sleep schedule a bit more "normal." I've been getting to bed at (approximately) between 1:30am and 2:30am, and dragging my ass out of bed at around 10:45am, after having played snooze-button tag since 9:30. For the past couple of nights, though, because of the time-change, I've found myself getting to bed between 3:30 and 4am, and dragging my ass out of bed at around 11:15. Basically, then, I've been struggling to get up a half hour earlier, just to have gotten up a half hour later. What a fucking rip-off. —Dusty TheHick |

Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 3:18 AM I go to sleep anywhere between 10 and midnight on weekdays, always up by 6:30, out the door by 7:00. I'm weird though, I set my alarm for 6:12 and then set my ipod and cell phone alarms for around 6:25/6:30...I don't think I've waken up to my 6:12 alarm for awhile (today I had to be up really early, so this doesn't count) —andrewwagner777 |
