Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 7:04 AM Edited Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 7:18 AM Go watch El Orfanato- The orphanage. Its a spanish foreign film with subtitles. The acting is uniformly superb, its an excellent thriller. you've never grown too old and jaded to be scared, recent horror movies have become crushingly literal-minded and leave very little to the inmagination. However, i assure you The shivers of dread "The Orphanage" conjures up, is a definite must-see movie. im not going to state the plot, because the less you know, is probably better. Let's just say that Sergio Sanchez's screenplay allows you to interpret what you are watching on both a supernatural and a psychological level. Definite must-see if you havent already seen it! —ucrchik21 |

Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 7:57 AM Edited Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 7:59 AM Infection creeped me out a lot. Alien is a classic, although I think Aliens is the only decent movie in the series. Session 9 was also disturbing. Uzumaki is kind of slow, but it definitely gets weird. I'm probably the only intelligent person on the planet who actually liked Dead Silence. I thought Phantoms was a lot of fun too, although not scary in any way. Also, I liked The Ring. I had to look at my list of every movie I've ever seen to come up with that. And what's always there at the end? Zardoz. Bwahaha. Blade sucked so hard that I haven't ever been able to watch II or III. I have to give Guillermo props for having my favorite Spanish name, though. —chix0r |
