Monday, March 3, 2008 at 3:33 AM Does anyone else think that the frequent Adam impersonator from 2005, the guy who works at the print shop. is the same guy who called and heckled Adam multiple times back in 2002-2003? Their voices sound a like, and so does their manner of talking. The 2002-2003 guy isn't funny, and never phases Adam with his stupid insults about Jimmy dropping him, etc. One time he calls in 2002 and asks about the masturbation clause in Adam's prenup, Adam actually turns it into a funny bit about using the prenup to towel off with after beating off (before going to a different call). But the heckler seems to fail every time, and seemed to get bored with his own shit to the point he disappeared for most of 2004. I listened to all of 2005 before going backwards in years, so every time I heard this heckler guy he sounded eerily like the same impersonator who called in and did the "blah blah blah Junior College...literally a millionaire" bit that Adam and Drew liked (and put on the air frequently) in the months leading up to Adam's departure. Monday, March 3, 2008 at 8:08 PM Sorry, and I take all of the blame for being stuck in the past. See, I always appreciated Loveline and I first caught it in So. Cal a few times when Rikki was on it with Drew... before syndication and before the Adam era even started. Once it hit syndication (to Northern California), I tuned in whenever I was in the car and it was on, and I even called once because I was dating a crazy bi-sexual girl in 1999. I was always a fan, but I didn't become a hardcore listener until late summer of 2005 when I saw a torrent of July 2005 posted on a torrent site. Shortly thereafter my iPod ceased to exist as a device for listening to music... because since then, I've listened to all of 2005 (until Carolla's departure), and then also 2004, 2003, and 2002, and am now making my way through Toby's new (old) Loveline mp3s before hitting 2000 and 2001 in their entirety. It's an assbackwards way to make some connections and discoveries (like how many of Anderson's favorite drops originated from the middle of 2002)... But now that I'm not just lurking on these forums, I figured it's the place to actually discuss these sorts of things. —Longtime listener, first time caller |
