Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 4:06 PM Edited Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 4:15 PM Rate the fast food restauraunts. These are all the ones I could think of in my city off the top of my head. I eat a LOT of fast food, if you couldn't tell. In N Out [heaven, absolutely delish. perfection on a bun. that is all] Foster's Freeze [seriously amazing burgers, their burgers are so good and so underrated, amd they put a TON of bacon on every burger no one knows about this place, if you see one, GO] McDonald's [best chicken sandwiches ever, and only 99 cents, surprisingly nice atmosphere, also they have the best breakfast menu by far] Jimboy's [amazing tacos, these things are addicting] Wendy's [chicken nuggests are their big strength, only 99 cents, and their baconater is amazing too] Taco Bell [always have new items, and you can order basically anything and end up getting something good, "all-around good, no certain strengths"] Arby's [good because this is basically the only place you can get a reuben sandwich without having to sit-down] Wienerschnitzel [badly prepared food, but they lather EVERYTHING in chili, so it makes up for the lack of preparation] KFC [about half the grease of popeye's, so I put them higher than popeye's] A&W [their cheese curd snacks are delish, but generally overpriced] Rally's [Perhaps the best fries, but overall, nothing else is spectacular] Chipotle [awesome burritos, but very small menu brings them out of the top 10] Panda Express [quick and dirty chinese food, but generally small portions and overpriced brings them down] Tommy's [good burgers, but a clear rip-off of In n Out] Del Taco [meh, nothing here is that amazing, only go here if there's not a taco bell in sight, and you're craving Mexican food] El Pollo Loco [their chicken really isn't that great, but they have a cheap menu] Popeye's [oh my gosh, their food is so greasy, I feel like such a pig when I go here. plus this restaurant is kind of reserved for the brother man] Sonic [AWESOME drinks and slushes at great prices, good cheese sticks too, but their food and especially their burgers just plain suck] Jack In the Box [terrible food, disgusting chicken sandwiches, the only thing worth getting here is those 2 tacos, and even those aren't great] Burger King [horribly overpriced, and terrible preparation, everything is slapped together, and their chicken tastes gross everytime I go there] Carl's Jr. [their prices are near the price of Red Robin or Sizzler, fast food is supposed to be cheap! plus their food sucks] Long John Silvers [ew, fried fish, disgusting] —anfernee |

Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 4:41 PM >>Panda Express [quick and dirty chinese food, but generally small portions and overpriced brings them down] My boyfriend just got food poisoning there day before yesterday. Bad times. I ranked mine: 1. McDonald's: Very consistent. I can always count on them for good, reliable burgers and fries. 2. Arby's (with Lion's Choice fries because Arby's stopped serving fries. Jigga what?): Roast beef. Yay. 3. Jack in the Box: Egg rolls! 4. Rally's/Checkers: Sometimes disgusting, sometimes awesome. As random info, only black people work at the one here. 5. Taco Bell: Can be shitty sometimes, but usually good. 6. White Castle: Good, but I don't want to go there more than 4 times a year. 7. Lion's Choice: Slightly weird roast beef sandwiches, but good fries. 8. Long John Silver's: The grease makes you wonder about your choices, but the food tastes good. 9. Wendy's: Small portions. 10. Sonic: Bad food. No reason to go. 11. Dairy Queen: Bad fries, edible chicken strips. No point in going if you're not getting dessert. 12. Culver's: Terrible fries, mediocre burgers, and sub-par ice cream. 13. KFC: Tastes good (I love the biscuits) but always makes me feel nauseous. 14. Burger King: Bad. I probably haven't been there in a decade. 15. Hardee's: Same deal as BK, except if I had to pick one to go to, I'd choose BK. —chix0r |

Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 8:29 PM i haven't been to most of these places, but i'll talk about the ones that i know well. taco bell - i love taco bell. i have traveled miles for it and it's so good. chipotle - they have awesome burritos. one time after i had gone there, i told this hot indian guy that i just had the 'dopest burrita' and i felt really stupid afterwards because i said dopest and burrita. the bad feeling that gives me makes it my number 2 instead of number 1. kfc - biscuits. also, whenever i go to a kfc, i always have a really good time. plus, fucking biscuits. wendy's - i'd say it's the best of the burger chains. mcdonald's - i might put mcdonald's ahead of wendy's purely for the dollar menu, which is wonderful. they also always have the best toys in the happy meals. burger king - the only thing i like at burger king is the hershey pies. —mandee |

Arby's: everything is good. horsey sauce rocks. expensive. 3. Jack in the Box: 24/7 breakfast rules. sirloin burger is to die for. beats the hell out of mcdonald's. 4. Rally's/Checkers: i have never seen a white person work at one. cheap. average to below average quality food. 5. Taco Bell: the food is great. i heart the chalupa, mexican pizza, grilled stuffed burrito, 7 layer burrito, steak quesadilla, etc. but, quality of meat and quantity varies with each visit. 6. White Castle: a guilty pleasure i haven't indulged in many years. might not ever have them again. 7. Lion's Choice: never dined there. always intended to. 8. Long John Silver's: delicious. fish is a little better than captain d's. 9. Wendy's: haven't had wendy in at least a decade. 10. Sonic: novelty dining experience doesn't outweigh overpriced, bad food. 11. Dairy Queen: desert only 12. Culver's: never been 13. KFC: i don't go there. love the biscuits. popeye's are better though. 14. Burger King: i like a whopper now and then, but that's it. 15. Hardee's: thickburgers rule. they rule, i tell you! the philly cheese steak, jalapeno burger are great. the frisco burger is my 2nd fav. fast food burger to jack in then box's sirloin burger. i want a chilicheese thickburger! fair price for the quantity and quality of food. angus makes the difference. i have one of these 2 or 3 times a month. —plurry |

Yeah, I do freelance advertising and magazine design from home. I just got through deadline hell and it's time to take a week off. FAST FOOD BREAKDOWN: 1. Subway - I can eat there three or four times a week. No one else has mentioned them, but I consider it fast food. 2. Miami Subs - Yes, I like subs. It's my way of eating healthy. Great fries to , by the way. 3. Burger King - The best of the burger joints. 4. Checker's - Maybe it's just me (and judging from everyone else's opinion, it is), but I think their burgers are mighty tasty. 5. Chik-Fil-A - Mmmm..waffle fries. They lose points for being closed on Sunday. Fucking Christian assholes, chickens have no God. 6. Wendy's - Consistently good though I don't go that often. 7. Taco Bell - Five soft taco supremes and a Dr. Pepper makes me very happy. Gas ensues. 8. Arby's - The RC Cola of fast food. I often forget they exist and can't believe they do enough business to exist but when I do go there I always like. I agree that it's pricey. 9. McDonald's - Mostly crap, but I get a craving for a Big Mac about once a month - and regret it dearly after. 10. Pollo Tropical - Kinda pricey, they're an 'any port in a storm' type of place. 11. Sonic - Their food is fine, but the service sucked so monumentally bad on the three trips I've made there that I don't plan on going back anytime soon. 12. Hardee's - They are too far from me to go more than once or twice a year. I'm not a huge fan of their burgers, but they have some good alternates on the menu. 13. Long John SIlver's - I haven't eaten there since I was eight. Somday I may go back. Then again, maybe I won't (Judy Blume in the hizzy). —Beat It! |

Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 7:50 AM doesn't that girl look like a fat sissy spacek? 1. mcdonalds - double cheeseburger plain $1, small fry $1, large sweet tea $1, i'm set thanks. 2. chick-fil-a - one time i begged greymatters to drive to a distant chick fil a but i don't think he did. it's so good. i hate that they are closed on sundays but that means katie isn't working and we can hang out. 3. taco bell -super cheap super tasty always great service. 4. wendys - i don't know why i like wendy's so much i'm pretty sure i can get a bacon cheeseburger anywhere but i never do. 5. checkers - i worked there with a bunch of black people. we had bugs but our food was always prepackaged and clean. the fries are amazing. i don't know what's on them. they come in the bags with the seasoning already on them. our service was terrible when it got really busy but .69 cent sundays for hotdogs, hamburgers, and 12 oz shakes.

Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 7:55 AM i've never been to in and out or jack in the box or carls jr. i don't think i've even seen one. greymatters is right. chipotle is sooosooo mediocre. so is moe's. there is this amazing rib place called shane's rib shack. the original one is like 3 miles from my house and there are about 50 other franchise's now most of them are in southern states but for some reason there are two or three in arizona. so anobody check it out. get anything. the menu has gotten super diverse. the greens are awesome and they give you so much food. —stefanie |

Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 10:50 AM Dusty has learned how to darken/lighten. Yeah I recently learned how to use the lighten/darken effect as well. Although its really useful, its hard to perfect. —whoisnumbaone |

Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 4:54 PM mcd's - consistently mediocre. what you're craving, every time. bk - haven't been in years and years. i remember it being fine, though. friendly's - consistently delicious, a little more expensive than the above. denny's - not a great selection, but it's pretty good. i like their biscuits and gravy. taco bell - ok. not a huge fan. subway - your basic good sub. quizno's - delish if a bit overpriced. drew and adam just proposed a book called "time out for testes: the fast way to discipline your man." lawl. —TortillaFactory |

Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 6:36 PM Edited Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 6:36 PM I think we have to disqualify Denny's. Anyplace with sit down table service doesn't count as 'fast food.' Plus, every time I've been there the service has been anything but fast. (Though I've only ever been there between the hours of 1AM and 5AM). Crappy, yes. Fast, not so much. —Beat It! |

Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 7:14 PM The categories are pretty broad here. Denny's is greasy and cheap, and you pay at the register, ergo fast food. The service isn't slow at all of them, yours just happens to hate you. —TortillaFactory |

Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 7:22 PM the friendly's here has great service and their mushroom/swiss/bacon burger is so fucking delicious. they actually had a male waiter there the other day, though, which is fucking weird for friendly's. nobody point out that "male waiter" is redundant, I'm trying to make a point goddamn it. —TortillaFactory |

Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 7:37 PM Edited Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 7:38 PM Anything with a waiter/waitress visiting your table isn't fast food. It's the law. Being passive-aggressive and angry at the world is a prerequisite for working the late night shift at Denny's. Or maybe just dealing with drunks and getting stiffed all night makes them that way. Chicken, egg. —Beat It! |
