Friday, January 25, 2008 at 12:41 PM This is an excerpt from his AM show blog: (http://adamradio.wordpress.com/) A listener calls in and asks Adam if he ever did stand-up early on in his career. Adam actually has done stand-up but he says he didn’t enjoy it, he “didn’t flourish” he says. Adam says the same thing that made him a crappy student made him a crappy stand-up comic. Adam says he’s “great off the cuff”, however memorizing jokes and then repeating them over and over again is definitely not for him! 6:27 AM – MORE HOW SAY YOU? Adam relays a story about the time he tried to buy a falafel from a Mediterranean restaurant with a credit card and was turned away!! He had no cash; therefore he was forced to use his credit card. His falafel was only four dollars, however there was a ten dollar minimum, “keep the change” Adam said. “NO” and “NO” was the response!
The guy would not do, he just would not do it!! Unbelievably to Adam the guy was insistent in his refusal; therefore Adam turned around and walked out!!
What's so interesting about this is that Adam told that *exact* same story on loveline once 5 or so years ago, and he constantly tiraded about the crappy services he receives from the armenian places on loveline.
I'm a huge adam fan so i mean no offense, and I'm not saying that he memorizes his jokes, but it's still interesting to note nonetheless

What's so interesting about this is that Adam told that *exact* same story on loveline once 5 or so years ago, and he constantly tiraded about the crappy services he receives from the armenian places on loveline.
I remember once that Adam told a story about crapping in a decorative popcorn tin. Then someone brought up popcorn and he told it on a different show. Oh yeah: MOFTW —bguirk |
