Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 12:50 PM Ten dollars an hour working at the Puget Sound Regional Archives filing old marriage certificates, property evaluations, pictures, etc. Pros - Pays well, flexible hours, I don't need to commute at all (The archive is right next to Bellevue Community College), I can listen to my iPod all day. Cons - Potentially boring, they don't let students work more than 19 hours a week. Was this a good choice? —derekho |

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 8:17 PM I valet park on the weekends part-time at a real nice restaurant to help pay for grad school. It's easy and it's good pay as I usually come away with an hourly of $23/hr. Good Times. The only bad thing is I have no reasonable weekend hang out time since I usually work from 5 in the p to 12 in the a. —I Say Good Day |

I was humping 75 pound boxes of paper in a freezing cold or super nukin' hot warehouse going to college back in the day. I always dreamed of a cake job like yours for school. Keep it, it's a good one. —Masteel |

Monday, January 28, 2008 at 11:26 AM I believe I had one of the forgotten realms RPG's on my old computer--actually my wife's old computer. We came home loaded from a bar to find a stick of RAM had arrived from UPS and I ripped open the computer, jammed it in there and was like "look how much faster this plays now!" The computer used to choke on the voices, but now when the dude said "and fucking steel," it played like a champ. She's a trooper. —bguirk |
