Monday, January 21, 2008 at 12:03 AM i am anxious to hear what this board has to say about it. i watched it for the first time last night and don't quite know what to make of it, as i have never been one to buy into conspiracy theories (mainly because i don't believe that thousands of people can be in on a secret without there being whistle-blowers). if you don't know what the zeitgeist movie is, it can be viewed at www.zeitgeistmovie.com, but it will require about 2 hours of your time. so please, my fellow cult followers, comment away. —airking32 |

Monday, January 21, 2008 at 6:57 PM iawtc^ This is a fake version of Disney's Aladdin (called Aladin). Here, Aladin sings of his love, Soraya, and how he does not deserve her because he's so dumb. Never heard wiser words. Here are the lyrics for those who want to sing along: Ach, wo steht mir bloß der Kopf? (less) —anfernee |

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 8:37 AM Ok I'll bite. The movie's bogus. They used very liberal interpretations for most of the religious segment. They used easily disproved evidence for the 9/11 segment (google debunking 9/11). And the singular world government segment is just ludacris, poorly interpreting history to make a ridiculous assertion. This movie (and conspiracy theories in general) is for stupid people who want to feel like they know something that everyone is ignorant to, it really pisses me off... —lastmanstanding |

Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 6:34 PM yeah lastman, i'm with you. watching the movie spurred me to do a lot of reading on the subjects it covered, and as you asserted, most of the "facts" they present seem to be bogus. i dunno. i just like asking questions and hearing what people (especially people that love adam & drew like i do) have to say. —airking32 |

Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 5:29 PM Edited Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 5:31 PM whether or not u buy into the whole conspiracy theory thing, ther eis one thisng in that movie that is ABSOLUTELY TRUE NO MATTER WHAT: americans are stupid dumbed down mother fuckers who live thier entire lives as slaves to the media, alcohol, drugs, and so forth... theres a part in the movie where the guy says "theres people pulling the strings and controlling your life and you dont even know it!" also when they talk about how americans dont care baout anythign except thier TV, and their toaster and thier AC units... very true!
like the movie says... less than 3% of americans read books. people out there care more about britney spears and paris hilton, than they care about important shit like improving education and keeping little 14 yr old girls from GETTING PREGNANT. americans eat like the tv, dress like tv, act like tv, and think like the tv. WAKE UP PEOPLE.. we are all slaves to debt and the ILLUSION OF "american dream" anyways... no matter what u think about 9/11 or religion, you must agree that americans by in large are fucking idiots who let TV and the media run thier lives —whoisnumbaone |

Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 5:39 PM i never said people in africa are better off.... my whole point is that most americans are laves to the illusion of the "american dream" they live thier entire lives worried about thier SUV and thier house and their bank account and they spend little or no time educating themselves beyond what they need to make money. people are born to be free and independant. culture is different all around the world, and therefore lifestyle is diff too.. are you saying that africans lives suck becasue they have less material "things?" i think what matters most is a persons internal feeling of worth, esteem, and freedom. the problem here in america is that our ENTIRE sense of worht, esteem, and freedon is centered around owning "stuff," and that SUX —whoisnumbaone |

Also, BUYING a book is not the same as READING a book. I know plenty of people who buy shit tons of books and never even get past the first chapter. How many people bought Harry Potter and didnt read it? —whoisnumbaone |
