Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 6:45 PM It was a bar. A really good bar. Bjork's music video for triumph of a heart was filmed there. They never cared about checking IDs, the line was always around the block, and the music was usually really good. It attracted really interesting people and usually had a lot less tourists than other places who caused problems and acted like assholes. Plus the building was really cool, had a walled garden in the back and a bunch of couches in the attic. Lots of famous Icelandic musicians hang out there. —derekho |
