Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 10:44 AM i'm sitting in an internet cafe right now in jerusalem. i haven't gotten blown up yet! i'm having a really great time. there are a lot of j00s, but its ok. we've been doing some crazy hiking/drinking, but not at the same time. i'm coming back on sunday, but really i'd rather stay here. i don't feel unsafe at all. there was a moment when we were on a cliff and a military plane flew straight over our heads and it was terrifying. some people were on the verge of tears. but it was fine. i like looking over the borders into jordan/syria/saudi arabia/egypt. the food isn't wonderful. i just eat falafel all the time. there's nice scenery though. i'm taking a lot of pictures, so don't worry, guys. i'm going to the western wall in a few days, so i'll pray for you guys. i'm pretty convinced that i'm the messiah now. i guess i'll talk to you all on monday. i do like it here, but i also miss tlc. i'll send you postcards. peace. —mandeemoo22 |
