Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 9:23 PM Nah, she'll do fine, online persona and in person persona are two different things. Not that I've ever met her before, but still. Besides, a scowl would be good, to keep the more rowdy kids in line. —Masteel |

Sunday, January 6, 2008 at 6:57 AM >>am i the only one worried about what kind of clothes/scowl she is going to be wearing? Student teaching I did first year, but I was next to second year. When the second year teacher told the kids I was "teacher A" (they didn't have my name on their schedules), they said "oh, the one who wears black all the time?" One of my kids told me that she wanted to come home with me because I seemed like a person who has a lot of fun (and she was serious). So I don't think you have to worry about a scowl. Why would you be worried about my clothes, though? —chix0r |

Sunday, January 6, 2008 at 10:13 AM Why would you be worried about my clothes, though? —chix0r I was taught by nuns in traditional nun gear for the first several years of my education. I don't think anything chix0r wears will fuck up her kids as much as that. Black is cool anyway--it's a good foundation for a wardrobe. Watch out for the parents--they're usually the real trouble makers. —bguirk |

Sunday, January 6, 2008 at 10:15 AM this has nothing to do with anything but I was just fondly remembering my 9'th grade history teacher - early 20's, thin, nicely built, always wore tight leather skirts to class, and for some reason referred to all of her students as poop stains (maybe I should have left that part out) —anobody |

Sunday, January 6, 2008 at 11:05 AM someone please post a stream of hot for teacher. I'm now in the wonderful position of being as old as or older than several of my teachers. I only had one hot teacher in high school and it was in geometry--a class I hated and the first class I ever skipped. The trouble I had in that one ruined the hotness factor. —bguirk |

Sunday, January 6, 2008 at 9:08 PM I had a teacher who used to call us "Yard apes". I guess it was better than "spear chuckers" or "porch monkeys", but he was still kind of weird. He asked us one time for anonymous written suggestions on what to get his family for Christmas since he didn't have much money and didn't know what they wanted. I said "gift cards". —John Lennon |
