I really like that movie, and I've seen it every single year since I was young, without fail.
It's a Wonderful Life beats it out though, for Christmas Classics.
Actually, scratch that, the Grinch Who Stole Christmas is the best of the bunch.
edit: I'm wearing Grinch PJ's right now too! I just had a girlie over [asian] right now and she was not impressed by my grinch pj's, moccassins, and ohio state sweatshirt. haha
Maybe it's that I've seen it about 10^12 times growing up, maybe it's that it's a little too heavy-handed for my taste, maybe it's just too sickeningly sweet even for my mooshy tastes, but whatever it is, I can't even sit through it any more.

I like it, we watched it every Christmas.
"National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" is the best Christmas movie though. We watched it too.
We used to watch Scrooged, but for some reason that move doesn't have much staying power, not like the first two.
The only good thing about "It's a Wonderful Life" is the unintentionally comedic semi-racist tone toward his maid, and the Saturday Night Live "alternate" ending.
Like stef, I've also never seen It's a Wonderful Life.
Additionally, not only have I also not seen A Christmas Story, I've never even heard of it before now. (For a moment I thought ZT was talking about A Christmas Carol.)
I loved A Christmas Story, plus I'm in love with Jimmy Stewart so of course I dug It's A Wonderful Life as well. I think my favorite Christmas movie is probably The Ref.
