Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 4:18 AM Edited Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 4:18 AM Give a quick recap of what's been goin on with your life from August-Now! Mine: 1) Got dumped by my long-term girlfriend who I had totally fallen for, [prom girl] worst part is she dumped me for my best friend -_- who had moved to santa barbara. worst feeling ever. he's pale, short, skinny, acne-filled, weak, an asshole friend, and doesn't even live here and not to mention a pussy, he's never even kissed a girl before, but yeah they're dating, he's moving here next week, and they're proly gonna move in together. vanessa [my ex] is an idiot, and she still always calls me and tries to kiss me and have sex [i give in sometimes even dropped 8) Played beer pong and fell in love, I'm pretty good at it, now I LOVE beer and can't get enough of it 9) Became obsessed with college football and nascar, followed it so closely that I now declare myself an expert on both. 6) Started enjoying being single! I met so many cool girls at abercrombie, and it's easy to get their numbers cause you just say it's for work. I'm talking to 3 girls from work right now, 1 I know doesn't like me, 1 I'm pretty sure likes me, and 1 I'm not quite sure about, but I don't think likes me. The one that does invited me to her birthday this month, so I'm excited for that. She's really cute, and a sorority girl, but is verrrry flirty so idk about her. 7) I started talking to my BFF Jenina a lot who I've been friends with since 2nd grade, and she has a bf she loves to death , but it's fine, I could never date her, would never want to either, even though I used to like her for like a whole year. here's the thing though, I've been hanging out at her house, and she has a younger sister see, and I started taking her sister out to dinner and stuff as a "friend", but now have started to maybe like her a bit, even though I know I shouldn't. Jenina encourages it because she wants me to be her brother-in-law. But still she might be a bit too young, I'm kind of scared to say her age because I feel like you guys won't approve. WOW, I had meant for this to be punctual but I apparently suck at that. TLDR? Here's the abridged version.
I got dumped by my long term girlfriend because she fell for my best friend and started dating him the day after she left me out of nowhere =[, had the worst month of my life in October feeling depressed and just empty. Bounced back, got a job at Abercrombie and Pacsun. Then I got a new appreciation for food and expanding my palette. Watched 400 college football games and nascar races. Packers kick ass this year. Started loving Beer and beer pong, favorite being MGD and despise hard liquor now, it's kind of for girls. met 3 girls at abercrombie, Megan, Jennifer and Allison, I kinda like all 3, but Allison is the only one that likes me back. Started talking to my old bff jenina a lot and started to like her sister, who is young, but gorgeous and mature for her age and has partied more than me. DUI charges were dropped. Pretty content right now. reflect on mine, then post your own, or either or! —anfernee |

Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 4:39 AM ah well I just now noticed abm's thread, oh well. oh and I forgot to mention I became an uncle and my brother and his wife visited from alabama and brought baby with them. This is the first time I've been around a baby for longer than an hour. Hooray for baby and all, but it cries too much and can't even hold up it's damn bottle, lazy ass. His favorite song is "What's new pussycat?" He dances to it, pretty cute I guess. born on November 10th or something like that and was with us Thanksgiving week, making him about 2 weeks old. pic: edited myself out cause I don't like the way I look —anfernee |

Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 7:19 AM Edited Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 7:52 AM Why are you wearing an old man golf sweater? As far as my life August-now: My friend offered to come up and have a "slumber party" with me. Not even sure I want to know what that means. She is really nice though, but she has her share of problems too. She is just chaotic/bipolar. We used to live in the same apartment complex and she introduced me to weed. It was good after the feeling/taste of swallowing a hot piece of charoal went away. Got a skin diagnosis (not cancer), after 4 months of waiting to find out exactly what I had and getting frustrated that no one could give me any answers. I had 3 biopsies done and finally got a diagnosis at the end of September. But now the stuff I have is fading away. I have to take a pill for it every day and I can't drink alcohol up to 2 months after I stop taking the pill. It gets really bad when I'm in the sun. The dermatologist said she thought that it was an effect of the chemo medicine I had been taking for my cancer. But since I am cancer free, they decided to stop giving me the chemo medicine. After that, I decided to come back to college and get a student loan to pay for it. I let my parents know about my decision and they got mad. They reminded me about how much I failed here the last time and how I had dropped my junior college class, etc. My dad said I won't be able to get a good job with just a bachelor's in psych. My mom said I shouldn't have gotten the student loan. I thought they would be proud of me for wanting to try college again, but I guess they were scared that I would fail again. I wish they had just said that but sometimes I guess it is easier to bluster than be honest for them. My professor told me, "Remember you're going to college for yourself, not your parents." I really liked hearing that. I don't have to feel like I have to please them or get grades for them any more. But I still do feel that way. So far classes are going OK. I am retaking two that I didn't do well in before, so I can raise my GPA. I started meeting with my old therapist again here at school. He is really great, he looks like a white Rosey Grier. My friend went over to Iraq. We have been sending letters back and forth and I am planning to send her some stuff for Christmas. I can't wait until she gets back so I can ask her out like I should have before she left. But back then we were both really busy, I was packing to go back to college and she was packing to go to Baghdead. Plus she was on base training most of the time, and that was 2 hours away. Decided to sell the Porsches next spring. Thinking about getting a SAAB hatchback convertible. It is just too expensive to have an old sports car. —John Lennon |

Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 8:33 AM Oh, right. But wouldn't it be weird to have some store clerk call you out of the blue? "Yeah, I don't know if you remember me, I rang you up at Payless Shoes the other day, I just wanted to see what you were doing this weekend?" Sounds creepy to me. —John Lennon |
