Addiction comes from genetics and the environment? No shit Columbo. It is a public health issue. My former college did try to do non-alcoholic events but nobody attended mainly because they were boring, other than the comedy nights. One of the few student involved things I went to that the college put on was a madrigal dinner with my friend and we had some red wine. It was good times, she was 24 and I was a freshman. Later she got pregnant and stopped talking to me. It wasn't my kid, I still think about her and wonder what happened. She was cool, we used to hangout and watch Gumby and went to the art museum and to a music festival together. She was one of my best friends. I really miss her. —John Lennon |
