How does he feel about your full blown AIDS? Oh, he has it too? I don't know if it's a good idea to go mixing strains like that, but it's your call. I guess every other day you could take each other's retrovirals.
For fuck's sake, Lena. Why on God's green earth would you want anything to do with that guy? He'll crush you to death when he has a massive coronary while you're doing it.

I think he has a girl edit: she's his sister..
but on his myspace he wrote:
" About me: I am currently going to MJC full time, and I work at Enterprise Car sales as a car prep. It isn't a hard job but it can be draining. I am currently single and looking. I have come to realize that if I go out searching for someone, it clouds my vision and I can't see the beautiful things around me. If that someone special comes into my view then who knows. Who knows, maybe I will find that someone on here. Are you that person?"
i already posted my myspace link in the discussion forum for that class...so all he has to do is click on my link...
Why is Aaron obsessed with this fat guy's tie? Why is Stefanie obsessed with this fat guy's penis? Why am I obsessed with this fat guy's beautiful smile?
my sis has a digital camera..but she doesnt have that cord thingy (UBS?) so i can upload them.

what is going on in my online class...this week's discussion..
Assignment:Briefly trace the development of the concept of evolution through time. Who was the first to talk about evolution as an idea (Hint: it was NOT Darwin!).
My response
Before Charles Darwin published his book “Origin of Species”, there was another man who attempted to elucidate the evolutionary process. His name was Jean Lamarck of France. Even though today most scientists do not agree with his “theory of the giraffe”, they can credit him for being the first person to stress the importance of interactions between organisms and the external environment. Lamarck thought that species change by moving to a different habitat and changing by forcing themselves to adapt to the new customs in order to survive. He used giraffes as an example. When the giraffes ate all the leaves from the lower branch, they have to force their necks to reach higher for the upper leaves. By doing so they move the tissues in their neck and eventually their neck will become longer. Lamarck also stated that their offspring will be born with naturally longer necks. This is the funniest, and inaccurate thing I have ever read, say for example a women before having a child decides to get breast implants, will her child come out with fake, silicon breasts? No! The only way to trace genetics is through the sex cells, if a human or animal does something to their body it will not affect the child. So therefore if a giraffe forces itself to reach for the upper branches it will not have an effect on it’s offspring. The other person that briefly discussed evolution was Erasmus Darwin (Charles grandfather) he anticipated many ideas that may lead to the theory of evolution, such as life originating from the seas, and that all species come from a common ancestor. 56 years later his grandson Charles Darwin continued these studies. After traveling on the HMS beagle for five years he concluded that biological variation within a species was crucial, and he explained how new species are formed. He spent 8 years working on barnacles, which supported his theory by showing that slightly changed body parts could serve different functions to meet new conditions.
students follow up response to my post
Sorry but this is totally from a guys perspective and I think we need to look into Lamarcks theory again and see if there is any way to make his theory work because there would be alot of happier women and I dont even think I need to explain what the guys would do! lol but on a better note I did really enjoy reading your post!

this is what the fat kid wrote about my post..
While Lamarack was first to try to explain evolution, I believe in my own opinion that is was Buffon, who was the first to talk about evolution. While he didn't intend for it to he did set the ground work for organisms changing as they migrated to different areas. Very good postion though.
does it seem like the fat kid in my class is somewhat conceited?
here's another post from him..
What is Anthropology about? To tell the truth when I was first signing up for the class, I had a vague understanding of what the course study really was about. I knew it had to be some type of science dealing with past human existence, like I said, very vague indeed. After doing so reading in this class, I have come to find a deeper meaning to what Anthropology covers. Anthropology is the study of humans transition from being primates, into complex creatures that can withstand multicultural landscapes. The class delves into the evolutionary theory, and how we have evolved over the years.
While I don't believe we evolved from primates, due to religious beliefs, I will keep an open mind when I go over the materials. The worst thing to do when trying to learn a subject is to shut your mind up due to religious stifles.
My idea, while not totally wrong was farthest away form being the best answer for what Anthropology covers. I was a little shocked by the study of the evolutionary theory, as stated above, but I am not going to let that stop me from going out and trying to learn something new in this class.
^hmmm..i don't think so..isin't Les Mis about an ex-convict who falls in love with some girl. I can't see evolution being apart of it.
OK so this weeks discussion...In your original posting you should each pose a question or make a statement about the action of evolution.
this is what i posted (first person in my class to post..by the way!!) I better get EC
tell me if this sounds stupid
I have a two-part question. This is my second time taking this course, and I remember back when I took this course with Ms. Bolter, she would tell us that she disapproves with the word “race”. She did explain why she does not like that word, but I do not clearly remember. I am sure many anthropologists might agree with her. So Ms. Kerr can you please explain why “race” is not used when classifying people from different cultures. My other question that I cannot seem to find in the textbook is: since we all evolved from apes (which happen to look the same) why do Homo sapiens look different. There are so many different skin, hair and eye colors. How did we go from one distinctive look to a variety of looks? In addition, if you were to go back and study Pangea (name given to the supercontinent that existed during the Paleozoic and Mesozoic eras about 250 million years ago) would you say that our ancestors might be within the same ethnic group. For example, many people say that I look Mexican even though I am Assyrian. I’m starting to believe that Latinos and Middle Easterns might have once lived close by to each other on the pangea continent. There are many different ethnicities that look the same, so is there some link that might explain this?

adaptation. grow a longer neck or die. life seems to respond to an organisms cry to adapt or die on a molecular level. aliens inseminated monkeys. that's how we got to be humans. i also have a time machine. i went back in time and helped kill jesus. it was fun.
