Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 1:11 PM I'd rather travel cross-country with Rosie 3 times than with Donald once. What a tremendous windbag. Although I do enjoy Donald's folksy old-school, passive-aggressive attitude toward lesbianism. "Rosie, I hope you and your wife had a lovely vacation". Heheh. —ProfessorCarbuncle |

Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 5:20 PM I don't know... At least with Donald, what you see is what you get. Very confident, a little arrogant and a little cocky. That's just him. I've heard stories about Rosie. She tries to come across really generous and caring on tv, but she's supposed to be a super, selfish bitch in real life. —acm323 |

Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 11:03 PM I only remember one moment from her horrible daytime talkshow and it was when Sarah McLachlan imppied that The Gap used Asian sweatshop labor to make some of their clothes and Rosie had a five minute smarmy meltdown on her saying things like "well, they've always stepped up when this show needed something," and accusing her guest of making unfounded accusations when of course at the time 99% of the US chain stores were using sweatshops. Way to protect the sponsors (aka her bottom line) and throw your guest under a bus you fucking bitch. Even when everyone thought she was nice I thought she was a bitch, but I hate everyone though. —bguirk |

Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 11:44 PM Edited Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 11:44 PM Aortic Valve Replacement with 3rd Generation Stented Bioprosthesishttp://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6218906821548692571 David A. Ott, MD of the Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston, TX performed an aortic valve replacement procedure with the new Mosaic Ultra™ Bioprosthesis during a live webcast on June 9 at 4pm CT. Drs. Denton A. Cooley and Ross M. Reul, also of the Texas Heart Institute, moderated the live presentation, review valve selection criteria and surgical considerations and address real-time web audience questions during the hour-long program. Each year, over 100,000 Americans undergo valve replacement surgery. Third generation tissue valves provide excellent hemodynamics and improved durability. These new valves also allow patients to maintain the quality of life they have come to expect and to enjoy active lifestyles without the risks of anticoagulation therapy. —ZT-In-Thought |

Friday, January 12, 2007 at 2:32 AM Edited Friday, January 12, 2007 at 2:33 AM <<"to this capitalist society" I'm all for exposing how evil the corporate entity is, but that is just plain communist rhetoric. I think it's fair to surmise from that sentence that you are not only anti corporate (a good thing) but also anti capitalist (the alternative being communism). Mandee, I don't know where you got your principles and your belief system, but it's a mess. Learning about you is like peeling an onion, the smell just gets worse the farther you go. Early in the 20th century, the communists were not bashful about how they wanted to push various perversions. The fact that you, for some odd reason, are pushing the glbt agenda at school is just more evidence of your disturbed principles. <<"I find Trump to be more obnoxious in general than Rosie." ShhhhhhOCKING. You're biased and you won't be open about it. That has nothing to do with which one is more "obnoxious," you favor rosie because she's a pervert and Trump is a so called "capitalist." THIS is why no one takes women seriously when they render opinions, because their opinions of one subject are based on BIASES that are totally unrelated to the subject they're giving the opinion about. Basically, women give disingenuous statements and pass them off as opinions. —striker |

Friday, January 12, 2007 at 6:49 AM I'm not a communist. I do lean more towards the socialist side though. And I don't like Trump and part of the reason for that is because he's a capitalist and owns this large corporation. If you think corporations are evil and at the same time are all for capitalism, then you are the one with the messed up views. Capitalism allows these corporations to get away with anything. —mandeemoo22 |

Capitalism allows these corporations to get away with anything." Oh the ignorance you display. The ignorance, the ignorance. Corporation does NOT equal capitalism. Wow, where to begin. You don't even KNOW what a corporation IS do you? Holy hell. Mandee, a corporation is a CREATION of government, it's a "legal person," a corporation only "exists" because of a GOVERNMENT charter. It's a TOOL used by SOME capitalists because since 1913 you make more money if you're connected to government and the establishment. Corporations destroy the free market by gobbling it up. The corporate entity was created for CONTROL purposes, it was created to control things that government couldn't get AWAY with controlling directly. Corporations HIJACK capitalism like a virus, and in the eyes of IGNORANT people, give capitalism a bad name. Are you a Limpbaugh listener, because HE is constantly saying that corporations = capitalism. He uses the word "corporation" and "capitalism" INTERCHANGEABLY. I can't stand Limpbaugh because he's such a suck up to the establishment (and the establishment's party that's called the "republican" party). You're probably a die hard loyalist to the establishment's OTHER party that's called the "democrat" party. —striker |

Friday, January 12, 2007 at 8:32 AM Some movie came out last year that talked about how corporation is a "legal person" and if a corporation were a person it would be diagnosed as insane. My friend said they said that in the first ten minutes and then repeated it for the next 90 so beware. For someone who claims to be anti-corporate you have in the past said you are a Walmart shopper striker. They're up there with GE and KBR as one of the most evil anti-american corps in history. Friday, January 12, 2007 at 9:07 AM Well, the physical reality, is that corporations have taken over the world, in public and behind the scenes. I could either buy nothing, or buy things at the cheapest place, hence I go to Wal Mart. The fact that they're the only major chain that sells handgun ammo makes it at least tolerable. Corporations are the dream tool for those with evil control agendas, but corporations CAN be influenced if humans (the corporate entity's arch enemy, despite the fact that it needs our business to survive) will spend the effort. The corporate culture loathes every minute that it has to interact with humans and has to hire humans. It's constantly trying to change, alter, reform, and erase much of what makes us human. Just ask anyone who has ever worked for one especially in an office, or in management. Corporations breed and reward "yes men/women" while at the same time needing the ingenuity of a human and gutsiness of a human to survive. It is chilling if you study the similarities between women and the corporation/corporate culture: 1. no core sense of justice 2. obsessed with what the group is doing, vying for it's approval 3. masters of evading responsibility/liability 4. not grounded in any real principles, extremely changeable and open to influence on things that should be unchangeable principles 5. dependent (as opposed to being INdependent), dependent on government for it's existence, purchases for it's existence 6. belief that it has all power 7. unmatched arrogance (management likes to have an entrance and parking area all their own, women expect to be catered to then allowed free reign to complain) 8. has unique and very specific and refined desires/abilities to murder humans w/o conscience (corporations funded the communist revolution AND hitler, mercenary corporations are everywhere in Iraq killing with impunity, then there's women's obsession with maintaining a so called "right" to murder the most innocent, whether they plan to USE it or not, they are rabid about maintaining the backwards so called "right.") 9. rabid desire to not just be better than the competition, but a desire to END competition (no explanation needed for corporations, and evidence that women hate each other is everywhere, as well as some women's rabid attitude towards their man so much as LOOKING at another woman, let ALONE porn). The more you think about it, the more similarities you'll notice. I've probably just scratched the surface in the few minutes I spent typing the above 9 similarities. —striker |

Friday, January 12, 2007 at 9:14 AM Edited Friday, January 12, 2007 at 9:18 AM This was posted while I was typing: <<"I'm more educated than you, striker. Don't tell me about capitalism. That post was all hollow statements with no supporting logic. In a logical debate, when one participant devolves into emotion, esp hostility, if there is a moderator over the debate, that moderator awards the victory to the one who didn't NEED to resort to emotion and lashing out. Go take a midol and come back in an hour or so. —striker |
