Monday, September 4, 2006 at 7:53 AM I'm helping my dad out at his school where he works getting ready for next year uninstalling and reinstalling programs into a computer...I need help downloading AIM. Can anyone post an anonymizer that helps me bypass the filter or a link that will let me download AIM? Or can someone send me the AIM application in an email? [if that's possible?] Email: mshsl_geniuses_not@hotmail.com ^Not my regular email, but it's one I post on forums & whatnot. All help is appreciated. —andrewwagner777 |

Monday, September 4, 2006 at 8:04 AM You could try downloading Gaim, it's better anyway. Or use AIM Express; lets you use AIM without downloading it. —chix0r |

Monday, September 4, 2006 at 12:27 PM Depending on who's blocking AIM you could be putting someone's job at risk by installing it on their computer. If this is someone else's property don't put it on there. By a cheap laoptop and put it there. Networks tend to be filtered for a reason and I can think of several reasons why a school doesn't want chat software on a computer. —bguirk |

Monday, September 4, 2006 at 12:30 PM Well, I'm home now. I didn't get the email until after I'd signed off, so I didn't end up downloading it. And yeah, God forbid we put AIM on a computer and riddle it with computer AIDS. —andrewwagner777 |
