Saturday, August 5, 2006 at 11:25 PM I'm a tool. Not really. After all that has been happening lately, I almost forgot Tool's coming to Fresno tomorrow and i have floor tickets. Couple questions. 1) Has anyone seen them before, are they good live? I like them don't love but for some reason it seemed like they'd be a good band to see live 2) My buddy is still in Iran and he can't go so I have an extra floor ticket, and I payed 70 bucks for it, what should I do/do you think I can at least get 50 for it somehow? 3) I haven't had my computer since May so I haven't been able to download any new stuff or listen to them recentl; what are some of their best songs that they usually play live? (besides the obvious ones like stinkfist, schism, vicarious, prison sex...) I always go in mosh pits at concerts this one i think will be better than anyone i've been in. deftones, as i lay dying were pretty good pits. —Stryker311 |

Saturday, August 5, 2006 at 11:30 PM I dunno. But in other news, when I was like 15/16 or so, I got my nose broke in a mosh pit when I was dragged in by John Krippendorf aka Luke Pewk of Luke Pewk and the Vomit. My finest moment. —catloaf |

My boyfriend just saw them in Chicago and he said they were great. >>I payed 70 bucks for it, what should I do/do you think I can at least get 50 for it somehow? I sold a Rancid ticket on eBay for $40 when you could still buy them from the venue for $18. So. Um. Tool? I'm sure you can sell it. —chix0r |

Monday, August 7, 2006 at 10:34 AM Now you can start becoming a man and drop that teenage crap music. Any band who is gone for almost 5 years between their 2nd and 3rd album, and then again between their 3rd and 4th releases, finally with a debut at #1 with those albums is worthy of fandom. —Colin |

Monday, August 7, 2006 at 6:49 PM lol^ What the hell is your friend doing in Iran? He was born there and moved here when he was 2, so he's completely American and doesn't really have an accent. He calls himself Persian or something Idk, but he and his family traveled back there for summer to visit, and he was supposed to be back 2 weeks ago, but got stuck there because of some required military service thing, which sucks, but if he gets stuck there, he said I can have all his clothes and he's a fashion geek, so I'm pumped. All those A&F and Hollister jeans and shirts.... Nah I'm totally kidding I love that guy I'd cry if he got stuck there, but I'm pretty sure he won't. —Stryker311 |

Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 7:40 PM Last night I had a dream about, you know those big giant paper cutters? Well, I was standing next to one, this person was yelling (perhaps they were German), "NEXT! NEXT!" There were people in line and one-by-one they'd come down to the giant paper cutter and get their hand cut off. I was confused because I didn't know if I was suppose to get my hands cut off, or if I was suppose to stop it, or if I was just supervising. chix0r having a dream about sexing Darkfloyd just reminded me of this dream. The dream probably means nothing. —greymatters |

Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 7:54 PM I had an insane dream today. I was living(sort of) in an apartment that I used to live in years ago, only there was someone else's stuff there and MY stuff was kind of semi-transparently superimposed over top of their stuff...And it was just me, no husband, no kids, and I realized something was really wrong when I kept seeing a baby out of the corner of my eye but when I'd turn and look there'd be nothing there. So then, this friend of mine named Bonnie shows up. I don't know anyone named Bonnie except for a distant cousin, but this girl was like my best friend or something. And I could've sworn that every so often her clothes and hairstyle would just suddenly change. I told her that I thought I might be dead and haunting my old apartment and that I thought I belonged somewhere else, that I had a feeling I needed to go to the apartments that I'm living in now. So she took me here, and I saw my kids looking out the office window, except they were younger, and I don't know if they saw me or not. So we went into the apartment where I'm living now, and it was bare, and while we were walking around in it, her clothes and hair started to change more frequently, to the point where every time I'd blink she'd be completely different.... And then it just got weirder. Yeah. —catloaf |
