Edited Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 4:18 AM RancidSick's call was the first time I listened to any new loveline in about3 weeks. I'm not optimistic about the shape of things after hearing that call. While it seems Stryker isn't cemented in place, they talked about feeling things out and getting into the groove of things with Stryker on. So there doesn't seem to be a lot of energy pushing to get a good new cohost. Now, Loveline is an orphan. No apparent captain on that ship. Even if this show isn't as lucrative as some others, it's still a big show and brings in a decent amount of $$ per episode in advertising + syndication sales to stations nationally. So somebody must have a financial stake in the show, and they should be rattling cages to avoid having the show dropped. nightmare scenerio: Loveline and Adam's show get taken off the air. —ProfessorCarbuncle |
