Crapload of old (Adam) shows for download

So, Rapidshare gave out some "free" premium accounts. The only way to keep them premium is to keep people downloading your shit. I know many of you are too lazy to get on the Hub or whatever, so here is my personal collection of favourite Loveline shows. I will upload any one of them that is requested. I just want my Premium points, dammit!

I know Rapidshare is a pain in the ass, but....

I'm just sayin'.

Ta.

Sweeet. I would love any of the four non-guest episodes, if you're up for it.

Your wish is my command. Unfortunately some of those unlabelled ones are not actually guestless - I just listened to the opening segments to verify it. I actually have two guestless shows, and I will upload those within about half an hour. (My Rapidshare is tied up with something else at the moment.)

I actually may have three. Er....pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

ONE!

^ This is the night Adam's car broke down, and he came in late, ranting about the gas station attendant. Priceless.

TWO!

THREE!

Please take them, people. Please.

Thank you so much! I remember that one with the breakdown, and monsterous rant on gas station attendants being suspicious of him and his broken car (if this is the one)
I think I'll download a copy on my other computer, too, for ya.

How much Loveline do you need to push to keep you account premium?

More than anyone could ever download...heh. I think I need 10,000 downloads within 45 days to keep it, but every little bit helps. I am hitting some bigger sources as well with more desirable stuff - we'll see how things pan out.

By all means, download away.

I tried to download the three you put up but after the first, I got this message

You have reached the download-limit for free-users. Want to download more?
Get your own Premium-account now! Instant download-access! (Or wait 65 minutes)

I got the same message after I cleared my cookies so it must be based on IP address (if it weren't for that, I'd download as many eps as you put up).

I also tried to download the episodes but the box that usually has the little code that you have to submit only had that box with the red X in it instead of the code. I've used Rapidshare before without any problem so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong.

Huh.

Ano - yes, it's based on your IP address. Have you dowloaded a lot of stuff from them lately?

Catloaf - not sure. Try clearing your cache. It's possible there's something wrong w/ their server.

Weird - I don't think so but I guess it's possible.

BTW - if you really just need 10,000 downloads, why not just put up a few hundred small files and get as many people as possible to download them in their spare time?

the original mason jar call was NOT in 2002.

Possibly. I didn't label these.

I think that episode was the one where the original guy who invented the Mason Jar Punch Line called in and identified himself, and Drew went nuts and talked to the guy for a while. It wasn't the original mason jar call, it was the original mason jar caller, calling back.

I do not know whether it was the first or not, but TortillaFactory, I would like that episode, sil vous plait

To rape rapidshare I use the Firefox extension "SwitchProxy Tool", load it up with what I find from googling "proxy list", then reload the rapidshare page with a different proxy until it lets me through.

Also, to use a download manager without a premium account, use the "Flashgot" extension, and use the "Flashgot" option when it asks you to download. Then, for the referrer, just cut the URL down like this...

URL: http://dl17l3.rapidshare.de/files/24708463/2516077237/LL20050130cf__Adam_s_Breakdown_.mp3?mirror=on&captcha=PB0&actionstring=Download+from+Level%283%29-network
Referrer: http://dl17l3.rapidshare.de/files/24708463

Of course, you can only use one jet at a time when downloading, and if you use a proxy you have to tell your download manager to use it as well.

The mason jar thing happened back in the mid 90's. It was definitely way back when A & D were doing college shows together because the original caller came up to them at one of these events and I'm sure Adam stopped doing those shows around '98 or so. Definitely around Man show time. This was also around the time when the kids who could fart at will were regular callers. Those were the days man--OG Loveline.

I remember that. One guy in particular could audibly suck air in before expelling it. Good times (nothing like a little fart humor :-) .

HOLY SHIT!

I was just listening to the 2005-01-30 (the Adam car breakdown) show and 1 hour 18 minutes and 7 seconds into the show, what do I hear? Our very own Billy, the former assistant webmaster, with a mason jar call.
