Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 12:53 PM Sorry.....McHale is my third choice. Tosh is the man. True words. My only concern is that Tosh would be able to have good linear conversations w/ drew and give straight advice after a while in addition to the humor. I think McHale is closer to that part right now than Tosh. But still, vote Tosh. —ProfessorCarbuncle |

Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 2:03 PM I actually like McHale, but it seems like whenever he's on it turns into a butt-kissing session about "The Soup." Good conversation is one thing, but heaping praise constantly gets old for me. It didn't stand out to me that Tosh didn't converse well with Drew, but if that is the case I'm sure it would get better with time. I like his humor, his edge and his demeanor. I would like to seem him draw from personal experience more when it comes to the advice stuff. —Mayonnaise |

Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 2:06 PM The fact that you guys can't see that McHale is the better choice disturbs me. It almost gives me the feeling that you guys missed what Carolla was doing. It's not about throwing out one liners and saying crazy stuff on the air and then giving out crazy answers disguised as advice. Its about giving advice and making the advice humorous to keep you tuned in. McHale listens to the callers and their problems, while Tosh is just listening for his next punchline. McHale should be the clear choice. Please reconsider. —Juanus |

Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 7:05 PM /\ seconded. Anyway, it seems pretty disturbing to me to think that they'd actually base their decision on an internet poll (hell - if it's one vote per IP, I alone could skew the results). Isn't it their job to make a decision? I mean, sure - they're getting 'informed' but a couple of focus groups or something a little scientific would mean a hell of a lot more. Of course, they could just be polling to allow people to amuse themselves without factoring the results into their decision at all. —anobody |

Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 3:07 AM I get the feeling the 20 and over crowd will stop listening if Daniel Tosh becomes the new host... the people that like Tosh so much would've probably been the same people who were asking Pauly Shore to cohost instead of Carolla. Oh well there's always the older shows —Population Override |

Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 11:33 AM hmm i was surprised to even see Patton in there. I "wasted" a vote on him (it's like voting for nader) and i am sure he'd never get picked, that would just be too satisfying. i wouldn't mind if they permanently back-and-forthed between a few different cohosts, as well - just DON'T make Loveline a threesome, ever... —ralp99 |

Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 12:39 PM Since the show is geared toward the 20 and UNDER crowd, I don't think losing some people over that age would be a huge deal even if I thought that would happen, which I don't. —Mayonnaise |

Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 12:47 PM /\ true but if they do loose a large chunk of their audience (even if not their target audience), then they could loose affiliates and the show would be less able to help through lack of exposure. —anobody |
