Limiting where sex offenders can live - does it matter?

The San Francisco Chronicle (2 June) examines whether a new state law limiting where some sex offenders can live will have any impact on crime levels. Academic research, experts and some officials in states with similar restrictions say the limits do little to reduce crime and may cause more problems than they solve.

Well, what do you think ZT?

It won't help anything, in my opinion. I don't think they CAN be rehabilitated personally. A retired FBI agent that lectured a criminal justice class of mine once, claimed to be a profiler, said that they can be rehabilitated. He referred to one specifically that he said was rehabilitated, a Wesley Allen Dodd, if memory serves me. He was of course referring to him being executed.

But, nah, it won’t do any good. After they get out of jail, it seems like their lives are pretty much over anyway. They’re not going to get a job anywhere, and everyone knows where they live, and all these fat soccer moms start freaking out, no matter where they live. Usually, they try to stick them where poor people live, because they can get away with it. The poor people don’t like it any more than the fat soccer moms who get drunk on the weekends and fantasize about fucking ten inch black cocks, then throw their little dinner parties, and whatnot, but the poor people can’t really cause much of an uproar. Usually, the news just shows this little toothless lady that looks like she’s sixty, but is only 42, and she says something in improper English, and then flashes back to the piranha behind the news desk, or in the field. That oh so sweet blonde, with the wolfish grin, and the thousand blow-jobs under her belt, nothing will stop her ambition, oh no, she’d like more and more sex offenders, more child molesters, more murder, then she could skyrocket up the ladder of success, and maybe not have to suck as many cocks as she would, if there weren’t so many sex offenders.

I don't think that it will actually make a difference, but it will probably make people feel safer.

All I know is that there's sex offender housing on Frat Row at the UW.

[insert joke about all Frat housing being sex offender housing]

But srsly...why?

I did that sex offender search before and found out one supposedly lives
in my apartment complex but I can't see that happening since they do background
checks.
If it is thats fucked up, not only because I'm protective of my wife
but there's a high school right down the street with all that nubile naive
young teenager ass and theres a day care right across the street from my apartment.
It's like rapist paradise.

The sex offender in question didn't happen to have your address and, um, your name by any chance.

That was the greatest post I've ever seen you make.

It made me want to laugh and masturbate at the sametime.

We got the bubble-headed-bleach-blonde
Who comes on at five
She can tell you bout the plane crash
With a gleam in her eye
Its interesting when people die
Give us dirty laundry

El-a'awer. talbis iblis.
Gulshan-i raz. zat-i shaitan.

Drink the wine of aluqah and breathe the secret smoke of God.
Intoxicated by the green shadows of the paradise.
Know that nothing's true and that everything is permitted.
So read the old man of the mountain in his book of lies.

El-a'awer. talbis iblis.
Gulshan-i raz. zat-i shaitan.
Ya zat-i shaitan.

Drink the wine of aluqah and breathe the secret smoke of God.
Intoxicated by the green shadows of the paradise.
Know that nothing's true and that everything is permitted.
So read the old man of the mountain in his book of lies.

The nectar of aluqah will run down my dreams.
The spring of this paradise hide deep inside the unknown streams.
