Friday, June 2, 2006 at 2:22 PM This page should prove helpful to you if you're new to audio recording. If you want to be able to "plug in 8 mics," and record those 8 inputs simultaneously, you will need a recording setup with at least 8 channels. Channels and Tracks are not the same thing. An 8-track machine gives you the capability to "overdub" -- that is, to record one track (ie. guitar); then, while listening to the guitar track in your headphones, you can record your vocal track; then, while listening to your guitar and vocal tracks, you can record your piano track; then, while listening to all of the above, you can record your cowbell. ...and so on, up to eight tracks. You can complicate matters by "bouncing" tracks. When you are satisfied with what you have recorded on, say, tracks 1 through 4, you can bounce them all to track 1, thus freeing up tracks 2 through 4. I'm not a pro, but I'm working on getting there. Most of my audio production abilities are related to radio - I produce commercials and station imaging. If you have other questions, consult a professional. Call your doctor if your erection lasts longer than four hours. —NYBret |

Friday, June 2, 2006 at 3:17 PM Good Luck bro, you stuff sounds pretty good. Hope it works out for ya! We used to do the bedroom rocking stuff where we just had a couple of tape decks hooked up to a mic and some key boards with the speakers overlapping the mics. It was some really great times and some really shitty audio quality the way we had it set up. That movie "Hustle n Flow" gave my crew serious nostalgia. It was strangely like us in some ways. —rAnCIDsICk@!!! |

Friday, June 2, 2006 at 3:36 PM Edited Friday, June 2, 2006 at 3:38 PM We're about 10 songs deep in our first studio engineered record. I need to update the music though and put our more heavier stuff. The newest song were working on is about Drinking and Driving and dying. Also I have this song called "The Abandoned". Its a song with two different stories. My verse is about a tiajuana prostitute who becomes a drug mule and gets greedy and takes on offer from Al-queda to smuggle a nuclear bomb over the Arizona border. She then gets in a shoot out with the border patrol and is set up a national scape goat when in reality there's a heavier goverment conspircacy going on. The other verse is by my homeboy which is about the Mexican Meth drug ring out here in AZ and going to Tent City (Maricopa County Jail). http://www.myspace.com/thcphx —rAnCIDsICk@!!! |

Friday, June 2, 2006 at 4:23 PM Don't disparage ASH please. Michelle Trachtenberg is sexually attractive. She played Penny in the Inspector Gadget movie. Penny was the first crush for many a boy, despite being a cartoon. Michelle Trachtenberg resembled Penny non-plus when she played her. She was also not sexually attractive at this point. When Michelle Trachtenberg was younger still, she played a character in a movie Harriet the Spy. One of her costars was an old guy from Canada who played a character named Walter in the television series La Femme Nikita. You see yourself as Michael from La Femme Nikita, don't you Greygrey. You cannot lie to me. Peta Wilson is Australian and will never lose her bogun accent nor homely slouch. Yet she is cosmopolitan. The movie on which La Femme Nikita is based is often referred to as La Femme Nikita but it was in fact called Nikita. This may not be true for French people. It was less romantic but more darky darkness than the tv series. The end. Friday, June 2, 2006 at 4:48 PM I quit watching Buffy when she was trying to kill Eliza Dushku and they were supposed to play a season finale where something violent happens at the prom but they postponed it because of Columbine sensitivity or maybe it was for the school shooting just a few miles from here. Anyway, I never saw the finale and that was it. Good story, no? —smaller hands |

Friday, June 2, 2006 at 4:50 PM Buffy is a weak show. However, I cannot deny that I have seen many episodes. There are many sexually attractive people that have been involved with the show, and some of them have been forlorn sexual fantasies for my own loathsome self. I will not be ashamed of my ASH fervour. He is a goddessa! He is fucking hot. Watch Little Britain or Manchild if you dont believe me. People that fan shows like Buffy have severly damaged brains. When I say severely damaged, I mean that they have taken quite serious and permanent damage at a cellular level via either physical or chemical means. That's all. Also, since that's not all, there have been some sweet musicians involved with Buffy. The only one that I found exclusively through the show was called Devic, or something. I already knew the rest, like Cibo Matto, because I am a hot hot burning pilgrim, here from a better place. I also have amnesia so can never remember clearly exactly where I came from, nor how to return nor even why I was exiled. I presume I was exiled from my Utopian Birth Dimension for assassinating any of several ruling deities and/or godheads that ruled there with a corrupt Utilitarian Democratic Zeal, a.k.a. fascism. Yes, Utopia also has fascists. In conclusion, when I watch a show like Angel or the movie Serenity, i become dizzy and throw up inside my mouth. I was not happy with the orthodox extremism found in the body of Summer Glau. I do not care to see her with shadow across her face, black fake wet hair draping down her articulated back, mild breasts clinging hopefully to fabric that can never fully humiliate the waist of her tender years. I do not want to see her become the icon of projection for the sexual madness that has gripped the identity of the autuer behind this corrupt series of vanity projects. These shows make me sick. I watched Star Wars 6 - End of Natalie Portman's Career of an evening, then the next evening I saw Serenity. The only reason I did not go completely mad and kill myself there and then, apart from sensing the psychic turbulence that would leave me to M(? sshhh) in a few quiet small days apart the future, was that upon finishing the Serenity movie I watched a television show starring a balding hunched-over Irish actor together with a chinese half breed actor named Michaela Conlin. Look! Here is Michaela now, looking over the physical manifestation of my psychic self.
