Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 7:35 PM i messed up my bass, i dont know how, it was an ibanez, and i bumped it on the side of my bed, and all of a sudden i couldnt get any sound out of it. well i finally fixed it. it was the wires on the inside were all jacked up. so yeah if you have a good les paul, you can probably throw it off your house, and itd still sound fine. take a sander to it or something. —Stryker311 |

Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 9:48 PM ok first off i want a les paul thats got its ass kiked and im not talking internaly im only talking cosmeticaly lik you know how the paint is peeling off the edges and theres some ware and tear but i have an esp eclipse 1000 deluxe and i have bumped it and it seems to have like this maybe 16th of an inch white stuff under it so it cant get to the woot yet i look on ebay at old LEs pauls and the scratches goes down to the wood theres non of this barier mabe they do it like that so they wont get down to wood ? —Ac3_R0ck0lla |

Monday, March 13, 2006 at 9:46 AM Go buy a thrashed one that has the look you want. Then take it to a good guitar shop (one that doesn't advertise their financing) and get them to fix the pickups and other electronics. DO NOT take a new Les Paul and ruin it. That look needs to be earned. —bguirk |
