I have seen hours of stories relating to the issue on news shows from DW tv in germany and from all the australian networks.
Good coverage. To not show the cartoons at all.
I have never seen a cartoon desecrating christianity published in a newspaper.
No mainstream newspaper would dare publish such in this country, and we're only mildly nuts on jesus. hooked on jesus.
i haven't seen the cartoons, are they bad? I don't mind.

Remember no government had anything to do with the release of these cartoons-- the newspapers in europe are operated independently of government intervention [in contrast to arab gov'ts]. The Danes did no wrong. The Arab protestors are reacting in a way that would suggest that they expect the West to live up to some sort of code of conduct or respect islamic law. With freedom of expression you're allowed to hold anti-Bush marches as well as Clan marches. btw, notice how a lot of american embassies are being attacked or demonstrated in front of depite having nothing to do with the cartoons.
