As I've mentioned before, I think that Rachel is a ridiculous piece of fluff, and I enjoy hearing her mocked. In this regard, never have I been more happy than listening to 2/6 ACS when a song about her was aired. As the song began, she can be heard giggling and tittering, but after it's over, total silence from Rachel. No reaction. Although I can't be sure if there were other variables factoring in, but for her to to react at all to a song written about her leads me down the road to sadistic glee.

The song:

Hey Rachel, don't feel so bad.
Not everyone knows who Joe Montana is.
You might be a ditzy Canadian,
But you have a hell of a beatiful butt.

Hey Rachel, you didn't get those jokes
But you're still the one that I'd like to poke.
Just make sure that you never lose your looks
'cause you might end up as a fry cook.

Yeah, I think her feelings were hurt. She's certainly not too "professional and mature and level-headed" for that sort of sensitivity, and she is palpably sensitive to the notion that she owes her success to her looks.

I think I remember her saying once that she "didn't sign up for the abuse she's getting", and I think she means that. She could probably find a lot of other gigs that wouldn't rub her face in the idea that she's where she is because of her looks, and she'd probably be much more comfortable in that sort of blissful ignorance. She might always know intellectually that she relies on her beauty but she can effectivey "forget" about it emotionally as long as she doesn't have to hear it constantly.

I do think she's fairly smart and clever and funny, but only in comparison to other women who are that beautiful.

she's 30 and her sense of what's going on in the world is that of a 16 yr old. no clue whatsoever about what's going on. she's so lost with the likes of Dave and Adam who seems to have centuries of knowledge on her...

I don't know who Joe Montana is.
Intelligence can't be measured by the cumulative instances of knowledge particles.
Reproduction of such is intelligent but almost impossible to measure.
Those lording geniuses are kind of small.
Is Joe Montana a footballer or a televangelist or something?
I guess that's another product of the triangulation of European culture for Australians.
The world doesn't know our stuff, does that make them stupid? Of course not.
They are stupid, but not because they don't know who Phil Symth and Sophie Koh are.
Such is lush.

The best was when she had to decide who she would rather let have gay sex with her boyfriend: Adam or Dave (like which would be better). You could hear the hamster turning the wheel in her head. Awesome.

She's ugly. She has a weird, divot head.

She's also too confrontational. Bitchy Canadians should be shot.

I don't know who Joe Montana is.

If you were alive in America in the 80's/early 90's you should know who Joe Montana is. He's arguably the Michael Jordan of football. American Football. And don't ask me who this Michael Jordan is.

I don't watch football, and even I knew who Joe Montana is. Well, maybe I forgot a little just because I hadn't heard the name in so long, but still.

lol, you make it sound like some sort of affirmation or 12-step-ish thing. "Hi, my name is Bob, and I know who Joe Montana is."

Yeah yeah but he's one of the most famous athletes in America. And M-Fan, I never equated intelligence with awareness. Although I think a person who is intelligent and a person who is knowledgeable can both be fairly called "smart." Conversely, a person who is very dull-witted and a person who's never heard of most icons (celebrity, historical, political or otherwise) can both be called dummies.

I'm not saying you need to know what team Monatana played for or how many superbowls he won, I'm saying you all should at least know he was a football player. Just like you should know that Bob Dylan is a singer even if you don't follow folk music and never lived in the 1960's.

Laith is starting the new recovery program, instead of steering them towards religion, get them addicted to football. But you must find a way around withdrawals in the off-season

...if you're an american adult, that is, I would expect you to know who Montana is. If you live in upsidedown-land, I'll allow a pass

Only if Matt and Trey eventually make a South Park show about my new recovery program accusing it of being cultist and evangelical.
