Is there something in his new contract that says Loveline can't use ANY of his material or even talk about the guy as if he was ever affiliated with the show? I mean come on.

Can't he even give us an Adam update once and awihle? I mean I don't want them saying "He this is Dr. Drew...Adam...Still not here. WAAAA" but I mean it's not like the guy died or anything. Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 6:49 PM Actually Adam and Dr. Drew are stil affiliated....they both work for Viacom which owns both radio stations....Adam is on KLSX(owned by Infinity) and Dr. Drew is on KROQ(owned by infinity) and besides Dr. Drew is on at night..so it is ludicrous that they cant even mention him....its sad i say. —no not alright!!! |

Friday, February 10, 2006 at 8:03 AM In the words of the Aceman himself, "Loveline was there before me, Loveline will be there long after I leave." Ok we all get that, but that doesn't mean everyone should have to treat this as Adam is dead. I'm not saying talk about Adam everynight but once every few weeks would do. Personally I think they should get this listener co-host thing rolling and use that for a while, speaking of which If anyone has the addresss to that please post it somewhere. Now back to Adam, I for one find the show slightly less entertaining since Adam left, but on the other hand some guests have been good like McHale. While others need to go away... I won't mention any names... (ROB!!!) Anderson keep the Ace drops comming as a reminder that 'The Greatone' was once a part of the show. This is just a tip of the iceburg of what i could have gone into next time it shall be way longer and every little thing will float to the surface, but this was a start. Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 9:54 PM Despite a few isolated mentions to the contrary, I agree that Drew is acting like there's some sort of No-Adam gag order, or he's just totally in denial. If I were to guess, I'd say the latter. Remember how they pretended everything was business as usual during the last few weeks of Adam's Loveline tenure, even after he'd gone public with the morning show news? And on the last show near the end, Drew even said something to the effect that it was barely sinking in even in the last hour that the last Adam show had actually arrived. —Adam Rant |
