Most Macs violently shake and then explode after downloading shows from web sites listed under FAQ. I discovered the trick is to wear tin foil on your head and chant your favorite pizza topping over and over again, and by doing this you can download and listen to your favorite shows and avoid any shrapnel wounds.

Step 1. Go here.
Step 2. Go here.
Step 3. Ask someone else how to use DC++ on a mac.

i dont think DC++ exists for mac OS... only neomodus DC, which kinda sucks. but the torrents will work just fine, or the http downloads.

how about that FAQ? anyone ever look at it?

The FTP sites should work fine, but I don't think BT and DC++ are explained in the TLC FAQ.

There are definitely some good dc++ clients for Mac other than neomodus. I neither use nor like Macs, but after a quick google search I found a few possibilities. I also found that DCGUI also known as Valknut is available for Mac OSX. I would highly recommend that program. I use it in Linux and really like it. Mac users should try this for dc++.

Sorry Mac guys--I like my ipod and all but you should have to fend for yourselves. You decided to be "individuals" so suffer in silence. Here's an idea--go to goodwill and get a $50 PC. Put in a used wireless card for another $15 so you can talk to your airport. You can get generic HD's for 20 bucks at Fry's--that's plenty of Loveline dowload space. If you pay MAC prices for your hardware/software/toys you can afford the <$100 for a working-man's PC.

You guys have forgotten that story:

"Give a man a fish, he eats for one day. Teach a man to fish, he wants to bang your wife."

Or seomthing like that.

ah, good to know. last time i checked (about a year ago), there was only neomodus. most hubs will kick you for using neomodus, so that's good for mac folks.

What? The great Colin hunts and pecks? I used to look UP to you, man!

I think my last tested WPM was 94 or 97 or something.

I thought it was, "Teach a man to fish and you can get rid of him for an entire weekend."

I like Macs, but their users are too used to getting everything handed to them by Apple and they start to cry when it's not.

I picked up the Griffin RadioShark for my G5 for $39. Its a shark fin FM antenna that hooks up via USB. I set it to record the shows and dump them on my iPod so I can listen to them at work the next day. Makes the time go by much faster.

They are great PERSONAL computers. Put them on a network and they suck. Put them on the internet and they are limited. Try to program on one and it sucks. I still want an ibook for my coffee house laptop though.
