Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 4:03 PM Sex On The Brain: Researchers Look At What Women Want ... POSTED: 10:01 am EDT September 6, 2005 Researchers at Rutgers University have an interesting job. They're trying to figure out what goes into a woman's orgasm. Using brain scanners and other technology, researchers watch women's brains as they're having an orgasm. One of the researchers is Beverly Whipple, who co-wrote a book called "The G-Spot," and another is Barry Komisaruk. Komisaruk said the researchers have managed to find areas of the brain that are activated when a woman has an orgasm. The idea is to eventually use the research to help women who experience difficulty having an orgasm. The Rutgers work is being funded by the federal government and the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation. —pookie |
