I remember when Politically Incorrect was on Comedy Central you could say "asshole" but now they bleep "a-hole." But you can say "tits" even on network TV now and that was one of George Carlin's original 7 words you can't say on TV. What lunatic is deciding all this bullshit? It's basically up to the network to decide how they want to play with the target audience and sponsors. Case in point - Comedy Central will play unedited stuff like the Southpark episode where they said shit 100 times, or movies with T & A. You're just not going to see spots for Sunny-D and fruit roll-ups during that show. They also (obviously) have to run the "viewer discretion" disclaimer beforehand. —brett327 |

Just last week the Daily Show played Robert Novak saying "bullshit" in its later airings. I get the east coast feed at my house, but I didn't bother to watch the late night repeat.
