Monday, August 8, 2005 at 8:06 PM I was going to post a rant on this...but I am too lazy. Suffice to say, I took my "tickets" and made the treacherous journey into the heart of Culver City. Despite the perils of western travel (think Donner party with more gay sex) we arrived 15 minutes before they told us to be there and...There were 50 fucking million people!!! Unless they had the Rose Bowl recreated in that seedy Sony Studio, there was no way everyone was getting in. Couple that with a presumed 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait, we mooned the line and caught some Coronas at Casa Vega. Sucks. I was really looking forward to it. And this is my second 1iota "missed" event. Hopefully I can still score some Too Late tickets next week. —Ovid |
