Sunday, August 7, 2005 at 6:35 PM ok, first off, i know there are tons of questions, good and bad....mostly bad, that will be coming my way, so right off the bat i want to say that i would like to keep this thread to the subject at hand....which i will get to in a second,
i would like to address them all, but it will just turn into a long thread of "who is this guy" "i hate theo" "i dont think he's that bad" "i still hate theo" "what did theo do" "was that really his mom" "theo sucks" "theo has no work ethic" "who is theo" "theo should die to benifit his family"....
to try and answer these (without requiring you to answer or respond) i will just say the following... "i have been doing well, i have sold my house and then used the money to purchase another house and the remainder to start a website that is turning more money than i would be making in any 40 hour a week job (and no it's not porn), i am currently debt free and all is well with me and my family, thank you" to those of you who still hate me, thats ok...you should start a website devoted to hating me... though i would enjoy it the most....so maybe you shouldn't, either way... i wish you nothing but the best in whatever you do, to those of you who dont have a problem with me....or dare i say, like me (i wouldn't admit it here if i were you), thank you and good luck to ya...
to those of you who dont know me or why this god awful intro is needed....you can search the archives or just not worry about it, though there is some good reading if your bored at work... or just up late at night with nothing to do...
basicly it boils down to some people thought i was a jerk...and some didn't....and they argued OK, so on to the reason i popped back up...and the reason for this thread,....
so i never went out to loveline, i was busy selling my house, buying a house, learning website crap and then working my ass on website crap... but ive been listening, and ive even lurked around here some...
we all agree adam leaving the show really kills it, we all agree he may or may not succeed in his other shows.... but that he also deserves a chance to shine and this could really be huge if its recieved well... we all look at guest cohost with a "your not Ace" look....
and well, this sucks....it all sucks... god love drew...it's not loveline without him, but adam has a 51% share of the show, drews a solid 49%, he is the glue, paint, nails and wood....but adam was the glitter and christmas lights (im now trying to figure out what that builds....anyway,
since the show is searching for a worthy replacement...and this could take a while, and since they are filling in the spots with random people, i would like to nominate myself as a guest cohost for one night, this obviously isn't going to fly with many of you (i'm sure some of you are alread responding in outrage), but hell, if the show is going to suck for a while, why not let me throw my stink on it for a night...
so, sticking to this issue, and putting all the other shit on the back burner for a while...
what do you think, ive made enough of a mark on loveline to earn a guest host spot for a night dont ya think...? discuss —Theo |

when i was a kid wanted to be johnny carson when i grew up.... but hipper. like arsenio hall...but i always liked that johnny had ed and when conan popped into the scene he had andy, i loved andy richter, he was the man.......
fast forward to them announcing that he would be leaving the show, it was a big deal to me... for gods sake it was like adam leaving loveline....
i was bitching about it to some friends and one of mt friends was a tattoo artist, he had been helping me design a tat at the time and he said i should get and andy tat on my but as a joke, i laughed and said ok, he bet me i wouldn't do it, i said i would, so a few days later i showed up to his tattoo studio with the local news and newspaper as well as the richmond.com writer... he laughed and gave me the tat, he got great publicity out of it, i won the bet (i refuse to say what i won, though i will say it was worth it) and to this day i have an andy tat on my butt...i am however concidering getting it removed to replace it with dom deluise and burt reynolds on the other....i may just get it done as a cover up, not that i dont love the andy tat, but id love burt and dom there instead....i also concidered getting the tree stogges with curly in the middle whistling...i have yet to find and artist who would do it.... here are some little tidbits about the experience, i got a kick ass tour of rockafeller center and the late night studio's because of it the girlfriend from the richmond.com article and i dated for a few months, she was a little nutty but a good girl, and 90% of what we told the writer was total bullshit, we never went to graceland to get married, she wasn't stolen from another guy by me, we met at the place i did improv comedy....nor did we all share an apartment, she was a student at UR and had a dorm room, we never lived together... i lived with a friend and our apartment was spotless due to him being a clean freak....i am really a slob though... and at the time i was working 50 hours a week waiting tables.... so i hope that fills in any gaps, im sure it sounds stupid or retarded or just crazy....it is all of those to some degree, but it was funny, and i dont regret it.... it is after all just my ass....
and besides, it's a great ice breaker when you join a new church —Theo |

Sunday, August 7, 2005 at 8:10 PM It's not that anyone hates you Theo (I at least speak for some), it is just that being Loveline fans, and ironically so are you, we see that you have some, and I refrain from using the term serious, emotional problems. Your relationship to loveline (and it may seem harsh in me saying so) is solely as a caller. You are a caller. You came up with something clever which for a plethora of reasons and lucky circumstances tickled Adam, but your "mark on lovline" is not the grandiose event you have seemed to make it out to be and I think this partially explains some of the backlash against you. The other factor is one Adam and Drew espound on all the time. You have a child. In fact, you have two, and I believe many here genuinely worry about their upbringing. Forgive me but I must expose another harsh truth..From the (brief) exposure to yourself, you don't have it. You are not a radio guy and you don't have the 'X' factor that would put you anywhere near the league of a national syndicated program. That is not even a slight on you as 99% of us and the rest of the planet lack it as well. But now the time has come where you need to ONLY focus on raising your children. Never give up on your dreams, but I would analyze the "hated" directed toward you as the perception that you follow your dreams at the expense of, instead of concurrently with, the interests of you children. You have a successful internet business? Awesome! Congrats. Keep it up! I wish the best to you. (i know im just a caller, i dont think im more, i just think it would be fun to have a caller host the show for a night....and if a caller was going to.....why not me) You are not a radio guy (i am actually a radio guy, i have been doing radio off and on for over ten years, i have worked for two clear channel stations as well as for cox and infinity) and you don't have the 'X' factor that would put you anywhere near the league of a national syndicated program. (this is very true....but for one night, eh, i could swing it) But now the time has come where you need to ONLY focus on raising your children. (the kids are doing great, we have just put out daughter in preschool, we also have started her in toddler gymnastics.... just a few more years and ill be chearing with drew in the skating rink) You have a successful internet business? i have connections from my family having been in the antique trade back in the day...
