Adam hates people who waste their time in the proverbial black hole thhat is modern junior college. By the way, I'm typing this while taking a 5 minute break from writing a 15 page term paper at the University of Virginia. ;) On an unrelated note, Ive been listening to Loveline since I was 12 and I owe ALL success (sports, academics, and humor) to Adam and Drew. I literally almost cried when I hear Adam was leaving and really feel like Im losing my parents. I owe them everything. —justinbaily21 |

Small class sizes taught by excellent professors, at a cheaper price, and you get the exact same courses as 4 year colleges that completely transfer. I am taking all my general ed courses at FRCC, and then going to transfer. My first semester has been awesome. Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 10:09 AM For the most part I am glad that I went to junior college. Some people DO transfer to a four year college and get their BAs. But, Trins, look around you and tell me what percentage of people in your class are actually going to transfer. I was in a botany class where I though the teacher was going to shoot herself in the head, because it took the WHOLE hour to explain how liquid and nutrients flow up into the leaves from the roots (a very easy concept, though I don't remember the vocabulary right now). After writing and drawing on the board, using hand signals, using charts, she finally had to dig out a MOVIE, like we were in middle school or something. I'm surprised we didn't end up laying on the floor wearing green construction paper and pretending to be trees. Dear, Dear, Trins, look in the back of the room, yes the ones with their high school varsity jackets still on, slouching in their chairs, with blood shot eyes. Those are the people that Adam is making fun of. Those are the people that will take 8.75 year to get their AA if they are lucky. —Robin |

Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 10:41 AM i'm not sure state schools are much better. i'm halfway done with a BS from a big school here in ohio and let me tell you, the kids i go to school with are D-U-M-B and the teachers aren't much better. granted im almost 10 years older than the average student but they sure are stupid. for example, a girl a while ago said "this is a picture of stalin and churchill talking about, like, some war or something." yeah, WORLD WAR TWO. —GooseAss |
