Friday, June 10, 2005 at 11:48 PM Edited Friday, June 10, 2005 at 11:49 PM On the air a couple days ago, Anderson called Michelle a "rat fink". Anyone got a clue as to why? I like both Anderson and Michelle. Why can't they get along? Thanks, 5' 12" —Five foot Twelve |

Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 6:24 AM That’s funny because I wanted to post a thread entitled, “Michelle needs to shut-up or Anderson needs to start being really mean to her” but I thought better about it and didn’t. Maybe my wish has come true? I can only hope this is the beginning of Anderson messing with her, I’m sick of her butting into the show with crap. She needs to shut-up.

Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 8:20 AM Last week when Drew asked Michelle when she knew she was gay, Anderson startd playing the dog drinking water drop and it went on for a good 10-15 seconds. I laughed for quite a bit after that. That could have been seen as mean to some. —Colin |

The problem is that when Michele or a caller starts up the "aaaaaaaaddddaaaamm" routine, Adam has to then explain it to each and every guest that comes on the show. She needs to shut-up. He has been messing with her for a while now. He often plays the DAG "shut-up" drop immediately followed by the Drew "lesbian" one when she says something. That is so funny. Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 11:13 AM I think Anderson is only kidding, but there is a little jealously going on. Adam is kind of a dick to Chris and starting to be one with Anderson, yet he kisses Michelle's ass every chance he gets. I must admit I hate the Marco Polo thing and it wastes precious ranting time explaining it to the guest. I like Michelle and all, but I miss the up-to-the-minute Junior College updates when Chris is gone the latter half of the week. The Engineer love triangle (square?) amuses me. —Hashmeer Shashmeer |

Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 2:22 PM Both Anderson and Michelle butt in a few too many times. You want smooth and polished, listen to Rick Dees. But, they're both great for the show. Anderson's an absolute genius with those drops -- even if they are occasionally over-used. Michelle is a great, go-to gal when Adam needs something that Anderson doesn't want to give -- like that full-length "First Edition" song. It's also nice to hear her laugh in the background. Even the "Aaaadam" thing is good sometimes because it often injects a little energy back into the show.

Sunday, June 12, 2005 at 12:31 PM Edited Sunday, June 12, 2005 at 12:35 PM You know, the more I think about it, the more appropriate the description of “Rat Fink” is for Michelle. As for whoever it was who said he/she liked it because she was the “go to” gal, LOL, go listen to some morning radio to get your fix, but that’s not what LL is. Maybe they’ll start calling it the Love Line Zoo next, and use those honking air horns and dumb goldfish eating contests, and things like that. EDIT: And how could you not like Anderson talking? He’s the ONLY person with the balls to mess with Adam every once in a while, and take him down off his high horse.
We should compile a list of sayings where Anderson has just been rude and abusive to Adam, heh that would be funny. I remember the one where he said, “Are you that transparent Carolla?” and the time where he said, “Leykus called, he’s suing you for ripping off his show. What? He is….”

Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 8:18 AM Edited Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 8:19 AM Ditto. I don't see why there's so much rancor toward Michelle. For the most part she only speaks when they bring her into it or when she knows something that stumps them and she'll pipe in before they ask her (oh, and the occasional "AAADAMMM" to act as a defibrillator when things start to lag - though I have tired of that gag, I like it when she does it but I don't like the five minutes of explanation that follows it). It's not like she's counseling callers or interviewing the guests, she says one or two things a show. And Chris is great as a punching bag, ("Whatever, it's okay I'm used to it.") but he's less apt to chime in to help unless specifically directed - mostly because he pretty much never helps. I picture him as the 'D' student in the back of a class constantly muttering "don't call on me, don't call on me" when he feels a discussion veering towards participation. —Beat It! |

Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 6:33 PM Edited Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 6:40 PM first off... anyone who blames michelle for anything is a numbnut. shit happens on the radio. i work in radio, and it happens ALL THE TIME. there were probably 2 or 3 takes that DIDN'T make it to air with the papa roach show because of the delay unit they have. they ran out of delay by the time it hit the airwaves. it happens all the time. blaming a PERSON or PERSONS for the technical difficulties is stupid hence the name TECHNICAL difficulties. if it's anyone's fault, it's probably leykis' engineer's fault, because he probably patched something all goofy and disconnected the unit frome the board. (the zephyr or MARTI or Tieline or whatever they use to get drew and adam all connected to westwoodnone.) and secondly, I personally like Michelle, anderson, and all the producers and engineers. they're all pretty rad. although anderson can be quite mean... though funny.
