Assuming this isn't a repeat, it looks like Adam is going to be on Kimmel tonight:
Wednesday, Jun 8: Actor Anthony Michael Hall, Adam Carolla, Musical guests Athlete

Maybe to promote his new show?

What do you mean "on Kimmel"? Is that like "X"?

That is weird, the mid week reruns are usually Thursday night.

Well, maybe its not a rerun because Anthony Michael Hall has been on a lot of talk shows recently.

I would bet it is not to promote his show, but simply because Kimmel couldn't book any other guests and Adam is doing a favor. No way the Ace man is a 2nd seater to Anthony Michael Hall.

Well, I forgot about it, but just turned on the east coast feed and Adam is the first guest. So, anyone on the west coast, turn it on at 12 and Adam will be there. He does confirm that Weird Science is an incredibly funny movie. Indeed it is.

I have the divx videos shared on the hub - definately a good visit from Adam. His home improvement show sounds awesome, I really want to see it now.

Adam could finally teach Anthony Michael Hall how to make a ceramic elephant lamp, one that actually WORKS when you pull the trunk.

^^
Adam buys a house with his own money, fixes it up with his crew of Mexicans, and sells it. The first house they do is his Dad's from his childhood. The one where he took craps in the popcorn tin.

Is there a REASON behind this opinion?

Fun fact: Anthony Michael Hall is exactly one day older than I am.

Every interview I've read of Anthony Michael Hall, he comes across as an asshole, a guy who thinks he's god's gift to humanity. Just look at him on last night's Kimmel, and tell me you didnt want to punch him in the face.

EDIT- Although I did like him as Bill Gates.

Thanks Dusty for the fix. It's been quite a few years(decades maybe) since I've actually heard that quote. Sorry I was off. Hall's last great movie. Well, 16 candles wasn't too bad.

Everything that happens on a late night talk show is scripted and fake. The best ones make it look natural (Letterman, Conan). Jimmy is still learning but he's already better than Leno. Did you catch the aborted bit where they started talking about the Dodgers and Jimmy tried to get Adam to talk about getting banned from the team he is no a co-captain of?

It killed me because I heard that show the day it happened and I can't quite remember

a)Who Adam screamed at--it was a Dodger old timer though.
b)Who got to go bat instead of Adam (I think it was Stephen Baldwin who had already struck out twice).

Perhaps BOTH of these statements are accurate, as Sixteen Candles PRECEDED The Breakfast Club.

Yeah he did come off as kinda annoying last night, although I have seen him in other interviews where he seemed much more at ease and funny. You're right about the Bill Gates role he played. He was tremendous.

What? No love for Weird Science? Come on guys. That movie completes the trifecta (not to mention Vacation, which preceded them all).

Although, certainly not great, I'd have to go with Edward Scissorhands as his last good movie. You can skip pretty much everything else (and skip Johnny Be Good twice, just to be safe.)
