Hate to admit this, but, I'm watching Oprah right now...

and her show is about couples and sex, and I'm wondering "Where's Dr. Drew?" He's the love doctor, and a passionate passionate man, so where is he. I don't watch Oprah more than twice a year, but do think she's a media genius. Just not really my thing. I'm not really enjoying this one, it kind of makes my heart ache, still, to see happy loving couples together and trying to work out their relationships. Ah well.

UPS guys are always so cheerful though. You’re making me question EVERYTHING oh-for.

What state do you live in?

I watched Oprah today too! Well, I watch it pretty much everyday. I have a girl crush on her.

No need to question EVERYTHING, mas. I'm just a little um, jaded, about happiness lately. But I AM cheerful about 90% of the time, even when yelling at people not shaking their ass on the road. I actually like Oprah, too, but don't really care for the show. Most of her topics of discussion don't interest me, can't stand her friend Dr. fill(lol), but think that anything to do with sex, relationships and couples should have Dr. Drew involved. He IS the hands down expert.

Drew is a man of exquisite passion...I think Oprah would be so overcome with his passion, she'd faint.

Other than that, you're absolutely right.

Where did Stedman go? He was all over her for a couple of years and now you rarely see him with his billionaire girlfriend.

The best thing about Oprah is that nearing the end of every contract she has has with (Kingworld?) she says she is going to retire. Kingworld stocks drop, she signs a deal that gets her a dollar value amount of King World stock, that the second her contract is announces goes through the roof.

She has only done this 4 or 5 times. She owns her show, she produces with her own company - and she has done this as a black woman in America - and everyone thinks she is a nice easy going person - when clearly she has to be driven and cunning. She might not be as smart as Martha Stewart - but she does know how to play the game better. She has changed the direction of her show numerous times - from tabloid/exploitation to star stroking/rosie o'donnel fawning to what ever she is now. As much as I am not a fan, you have to admire what she has done. This woman took on and beat Donahue, Rosie O'Donnell, Liza, Maury Povitch, and so many that I doubt any one person can name them all.

She may not be as smart as Martha Stewart, but at least she didn't end up in jail like Martha Stewart. By the way, when is Martha going to write a book about her Camp Cupcake experiences because I will buy that shit the second it comes out.

I generally don't like touching people, which includes hugging, but I want to hug Oprah so much. I don't know what it is, but if given the chance, I'd go for it.

People like you are why I'm afraid to hug people. I don't want to make people feel uncomfortable.

Hear hear. Unless I'm attracted to someone, it freaks me out to be touched at all.

I did say that she is probably not as smart as Martha, I should have said educated.

But, you know that they must be equally as driven and hard - but one is known as a ice queen bitch, the other not. Care to guess who is more media savvy? Martha now has the challenge of reinventing herself - Oprah has done that a couple of times, lets see how Martha does it. Okay, she has a deeper hole to dig herself out of...at least Oprah won her trial - the unfortunate side effect is that it brought us Dr. Phil.

Yes, but without Dr. Phil, we would never have Dr. Phil's hot son, Jay.

Too bad you weren't born about 15 years sooner. It'd been much more likely.

I like hugs. That's the one good thing about working in long-term care: lots of physical contact. If I were a secretary (ceteris paribus) I'd feel way more alienated in my crappy life.
